Pleasant hotel, good breakfast and friendly personal. The breakfast was complete and healthy with fruits yoghurts. We recomend this hotel for your stay. Good bed en clean room. Airco en seperate toilet and bathroom.

Once again stayed at the Ibis Budget Lyon Est Chaponnay on the way to Provence & on the way home. A good price for a very clean room. only a few points to mention, 1. the exterior of the hotel is at present being re-painted, so scaffolding is in place. 2. There is no air conditioning in the rooms. 3. There are no tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms. (Points 1 & 2 are standard items in the UK Ibis budget hotels). 3. The 3 English chanels on the tv are overdubed in French! not much good if you're not fully conversant in French & rather defeats the object of having them! 4. Breakfast is somewhat over priced for what it is, when compared to UK Ibis budget hotels. Finally, the staff are BRILLIANT, they go out of their way to welcome you & make you feel at ease & nothing, but nothing is too much trouble for them, for instance, The guy on reception opened the

Stayed here for one night as a stopover on the drive from Germany to Spain. Clean, friendly staff, comfortable bed. Very good value for the price we paid. Would book again if we needed a quick and easy stopover.

24 Euro taxi trip away from Lyon public transport system! Only use this if you have your own transport. Very friendly staff but very basic conditions. 3 bed room includes 3rd bed across the top of the other 2

I stayed here for one night during Euro 2016 as it was conveniently located close to the A46 motorway to St Etienne. The staff on reception were pleasant and helpful and spoke good English and check in was very quick having already provided my details online in advance. The room was bright and modern and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable and the location on an industrial estate meant that it was very quite at night. The car park is locked at night and I secure as entry is via an intercom. The shower pod worked well. The buffet breakfast was good value although the coffee machine broke midway through breakfast meaning no second cup. The hotel is good value for money and I would have no problem staying here if I am ever visiting the area again.

Very good value for money. No frills, but fairly new, clean with excellent sound insulation. Both ladies at reception were friendly and helpful. The breakfast too was just fine. The restaurant "La Boucherie" nearby (the only one open on a public holiday) was decidedly mediocre despite enthusiastic young waitresses.

Quiet location with easy access to the A46. Restaurant 15 was not open but there were alternatives within walking distance.Exceptionally clean hotel. Excellent breakfast and possibly the most comfortable hotel bed we have ever slept in! Well done Ibis - we'll be back!
