Overall a good quality price ratio for London and we would come back. We were satisfied with the size, comfort and cleanliness of the room and cleanliness of the common areas. Breakfast is fine with enough choices although hot porridge was missing which is strange for a UK hotel. Beware of very busy time slots at breakfast, however the staff was quite heroic in emptying tables fast and refilling food so we did not wait too long. The staff at the bar and reception were friendly and helpful, special mention to Ben. Location is excellent, right next to a tube station and with several cafés nearby. Info: to store your luggage, it costs 3 £ per piece (usually 5 £ in central London).

Staying at ibis london city shoreditch was truly an amazing experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I felt warmly welcomed by the friendly and professional staff. The check-in process was quick and efficient, allowing me to immediately rest after a long journey. Room: The room I stayed in was very clean, comfortable, and equipped with modern facilities. The decor was minimalist yet elegant, giving a calming atmosphere. The bed was very soft, allowing me to sleep soundly throughout the night. The view from the window was also amazing, adding to the experience. Facilities: This hotel has a variety of very pampering facilities. The clean and spacious swimming pool is my favorite place to relax. The restaurant in this hotel also serves delicious dishes with a variety of choices, suitable for different tastes. In addition, the fast free Wi-Fi made it easy for me to stay connected during my stay. Location: The location of this hotel is very strategic, close to various tourist attractions and shopping centers. Public transportation is also easily accessible, so I had no trouble exploring the surrounding area. Service: One of the most impressive things is the service from the hotel staff. They are very responsive to guest needs and always provide solutions with a smile. The cleanliness and attention to detail is really felt in every aspect of their service.

Okay stay but improvements can be made.

On holiday with my sister. We took a double room each we checked in on a Friday evening and right away we were asked for payment. We explained we had paid for the room weeks before. The girls insisted we hadn’t and they have no record of this. A loop ensued of us being asked and my sister showing payment. In the end my sister said she was going to phone the company to prove payment. Within literal seconds the check in girl said oh I have your proof of payment. I mean seconds after my sister said she was going to make the call. So I do question the legitimacy of being asked for repeat payment. Therefore. Have proof of paying for the room with you before you check in. The rooms themselves are fine, clean and comfortable. Sadly my sister and I had kettles which overboiled. (They weren’t over filled) my sister got a replacement. I didn’t. So I had to go into her room for a coffee. We ate at the hotel but both nights most things on the menu weren’t available. I’d say 3/4 of the menu we were told they didn’t have it and it’s not a big menu. Also they advertise a cocktail hour but they had no ice to make any. So no cocktails. This was both nights. I have to give a shout out to the male staff member working that weekend on the desk to taught my sister and I how to navigate the subway. Very helpful. Thank you. The hotel is in Whitechapel area yards from Aldgate East subway so convenient. The area is run down though. Sadly. There was a strong urine stench in the street and a few homeless people, living in the doorways of the shops and subway. I’m in no way critising those who are homeless. The system has let them down badly. But considering a few subway stops later you’re in more affluent areas it really does stand out the unfairness of the system we live in.

Well located, with a tube station on the doorstep

Pleasant enough, the hotel is well located on the edge of the City of London (the financial district NOT the West End). The bed was comfortable, the bathroom OK, but it appeared to have been pre assembled offsite and slotted in. There was a 6 inch step into the bathroom. Also there’s no aircon - I needed to open the window to cool the room down (in December). Also there’s no safe in the room; you need to leave your valuables at reception. Breakfast was good, however the veggie sausages and hash browns looked very unappealing.
