Had a fantastic stay at Ibis London Shoreditch! The location is perfect with a lively neighbourhood, the rooms are clean and cozy (not soundproof). Staff was friendly and helpful. Few names to be mentioned here: Abdullah, Teejay, Olha, Christian, Avinash & Jalil (from the restaurant). Breakfast was good but live egg station was missing as we were expecting it. Being an Accor Gold member i was expecting some basic welcome amenities which were missing in both of our stays (2 nights each).

The location of this hotel is excellent. It is easy to find your way around the city from this area. Very safe and has everything at your door step. Breakfast is great value too, has everything you need to fuel up. Very good in every way!

3 Day Stay Victoria and Marina :D

I had a blast here. With only 3 days, to spend, I was able to do the activities I wanted to do. The hotel is super clean, and has a great vibe. Most people were smiling all the time, staff and guests. The staff was amazing from beginning to end, with a special acknowledgement to Victoria and Marina in the bar who were particularly lovely, kind and helpful. There was one young man working the bar, slicked back black hair, who just looked miserable in his job (no smile, no greeting, looked bothered to serve me) who couldn't keep his finger out of his nose. Needless to say, I didn't order anything that time, and given the standards of the hotel, I would wager he is already out of a job by now. I wasn't going to let him ruin my stay. Bad employees happen, and in no way did it lessen my opinion of the hotel, because everything else was superb I would stay again in a heartbeat. It is only a few steps to both the tube and busses. While close to many things, not so much others, so get your google maps ready and I am sure you can get to where you are going quickly. The breakfast was superb and the coffee a special delight. I also really liked the eco friendly aspect. The room size was perfect for just me, and 2 people would fit snuggly. A kettle with coffees and teas was there. The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet and I slept well.

Nice room but cold

It was really pretty room. The breakfasts were excellent. Nice staff.❤️ BUT it was pretty cold in the room at night, we asked the staff for extra blanket or heater, they told us that they will bring it to our room. We have waited for the whole evening and nothing. So that wasn’t very great from them…

Tiny rooms, terrible beds

The rooms were so small that we had barely any room for two people to maneuver. The mattresses were maybe an inch thick foam on a wood frame, which I now realize you can barely see on the website photos. The way the beds are made in those photos is VERY misleading. Service was terrible! For example, featured drink was espresso martini, but espresso machine was “out of order”, only to find out they just didn’t know how to or didn’t want to turn it on. Will never stay at an ibis again.
