Awful stay

Awful experience. My room was dilapidated and not fit for use. The cost for this hole was extortionate. Breakfast was ok but the coffee was poor and the fruit juices were pure sugar. Not good. Location was ok for what we needed but there are better hotels around than this one. I would avoid this hotel.

Nice location a d hotel reception, and the room was clean and reasonably sized. The big drawback was no air conditioning, this is despite there being an (old) air con unit above the door, and an air con control on the wall albeit with a sign saying "this is not an air conditioner' so it must just be old broken kit. That, plus windows that don't open, meant that I had a terrible night's sleep. Not the best experience for £180.

My partner had booked this place for us for a weekend in London, we’ve stayed in the Aldgate area before and it’s very easy to get anywhere you need to go via tube (the Victoria theatre) or bus (the 25 bus goes to the Abba voyage experience). The room itself was fine, if not fairly warm, even in February, there’s no air con, we requested a fan, it came the second day - thanks TeeJay for all the help. The beds are those ones with a spring box and a 2 inch topper - but still comfy, nice to see tea / coffee facilities, and the room is laid out well and feels spacious! The bathroom pod is like something in a space station but great shower and toiletries (no separate conditioner though) . We didn’t have food, the bar was advertised as 24/7 but owing to someone ringing in sick the Friday night it closed early and only if reception wasn’t busy was Hema able to serve drinks. There was some noise from outside at night but it’s London so to be expected. Overall though would look to stay again when back in London.

The room with three beds was spacious. All important accessories were available. The bathroom was large. Everything was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast and the service were excellent. Mrs. Rosane did an excellent job.

Directly after the main door passing the welcoming was warm , the room was efficiency and clean , employees for the breakfast was also also very kind . Rosane was here and deserved us a table , it’s very rare to found some employee like that , we appreciate that . All employees in this hotel are kind , it was a pleasure to be here .
