Wondefull location, few minutes walking to Check Point Charlie, and S-bahn station 1 minutes hotel maindoor. Staff was good, breakfast better than ok, but nothing wow, first morming i look staff in breakfastroom and think, isit first day working.... They weren't prepared for a large crowd of people at once, and they were just panicking, the buffet filling up was out of control.But we got through it, and the next morning we went to eat littlebitt earlier. The room we had was a large corner room, far from the elevator, which was similar to an ibis container room, but still not very comfortable. Parking in the backyard or underground in the basement for an additional fee. In the evenings, there was a popcorn machine in the lower bar, which the children especially liked.

Hotel was central and S Bahn station almost right outside. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful during our stay. Room was very clean and large with excellent facilities (we have paid a lot more at other places for a lot less). Local restaurants were good (Indian especially, but the Mexican was also really good) and grocery shops nearby too. Easy walk to Potsdamer Platz and other attractions (Typography of Terror is a must). Excellent and couldn’t fault our stay and will be back!

Public urinal smell

The hotel was nice and the beds so comfy. We were in Berlin for only one night to attend an embassy function . The room looked great when we checked in but we did not realize till we returned late that evening that the toilet stank so badly. The toilet was a single cubicle with a closed door, hence we did not think to check it. It smelt like a public urinal. The bowl was also dirty with old urine stains under and on the lid. Even though i tried three times to wash the bowl and floor with various soaps in the room, nothing could rid that stench. The extractor did not work as well. The smell permeated the room whenever we had to open the toilet door to use it. It was an awful night that we decided to suck up. Could have been a great stay if not for that awful smell. I felt as if i was staying in a public toilet all night :(

The hotel is comfortable for families, it’s very good located, well equipped, all infrastructure in walking distance. We’ve enjoyed our stay of 2 families with 3 small kids. Children friendly, comfort most of all Recommend it for Berlin city tour

Very nice hotel, but breakfast policy needs improvement

I appreciate many things in the hotel: location, clearness, comfortable beds, nice peope at reception. I would give them a credit. But breakfast service spoiled a bit our stay. They were not able to serve people the hotel accomodate. Not enough space, mess in a waiting process, not enough glasses and food in time.
