Worst hotel in existence. No control over cold or hot. No blankets. Was only heated by running hot water in the shower. The room is so small that was the way to get the room up to level heat. The windows have wind coming through even when closed. The phone has no way to call down stairs for help. The only solution is to sleep on the floor of the bathroom until I am rested enough to go down in person to the front desk where it smells like curry by the way.

ibis Sao Paulo Paulista (room 768) +Clean room. +Very good location, near everything, on the main shopping street with restaurants, cafés, convenience store (Carrefour Express) across the street and around the corner, 3 shopping malls with food court (Shopping Patio Paulista is the biggest, its 35min walk to it, the nearest mall is just 5min away), subway station, etc. +Good wi-fi, Air-condition, Refrigerator, Safe Box, Hair dryer, TV. Iron is on 5th floor and need a card from reception. +Friendly and helpful staff. -There are no free water bottles provided in the room. +/- 40-50min drive from the airport depending of the traffic, cost 70-85 BRL (around 14-17 USD) with Uber. Breakfast cost 45 BRL. I recommend this place, see attached pictures.

The room was much bigger than I expected for an Ibis. Great location right on Paulista Ave, walking distance to the shops. I felt very safe. Very helpful staff. The breakfast was excellent. The room was very clean and comfortable. I'm glad I decided to stay here.

This hotel has a trendy lobby and basic restaurant and to-go drinks and snacks. It is in a great location. The rooms are clean. Then the fun ends. The rooms are dormitory style, small, dated and no air conditioning. It was a heat wave 90 degrees F and the air conditioning didn’t work. I had maintenance come to my room and they said it was working fine. I opened the window because it was cooler outside than inside, my friend also agreed. It was 90 degrees F in my room, not even a fan. It was inexpensive, but i would not stay here again due to lack of air conditioning. Too hard to sleep or cool down.

the staff was very friendly and helpful, but the room is very small and includes only the minimum, wifi is good, and breakfast is too, the location is very good (metro, bus, etc.) and safe (next to Police station)
