Perfect for our short trip to Krakow.

We have just returned from a 3 night leisure break in the beautiful city of Krakow staying at the Ibis Centrum Hotel. The hotel was perfect for our trip being well located, clean and with comfortable rooms which ensured a good nights' sleep. After two busy sightseeing days visiting the Salt Mines, Auschwitz/Brirkenhau and a trip into the Tatra Mountains we hired the Hotel's bikes on our last day to explore the heart of the city. The service from the hotel was very good and in particularly we would like to single out Magdelena who was efficient, kind and friendly and a credit to her employer. All in all we were glad we stayed in the Ibis Centrum which we felt offered excellent value for money.

Stayed here for 4 nights whilst visiting Krakow. The hotel is near the bus stop where the airport bus stops, also the bus to get to the Salt Mines. It is near Wawel Castle and a 20 minute walk to the main square. The room was nice, quiet, comfortable large bed, lovely shower, tv. There were water dispensers on all floors so no need to be buying bottled water, just refil your own. Staff were lovely and friendly. Rooms could do with a small fridge but I suppose for a budget hotel that would bump up the price. I didn't eat at the hotel but the food looked nice.

Spent 3 nights here. Ideally situated for the castle and the Old Town. On bus route direct from the airport (300) and on tram route too. (no 20) The decor of the hotel is pretty wild, furnishings are very modern and were not to our taste but the room was spotless and though small had everything we would need. A fridge and safe would have been a bonus, but really there was no room and safety deposit boxes were available in reception. Good to have a water cooler in the corridor, especially as the weather was very hot. Fruit was also very welcome. Staff were polite and friendly. There are plenty cafes/ supermarkets nearby if you choose not to eat in the hotel, which we didn't. Little outside seating but parks nearby.

+ The hotel has a great location, very close to the Wisła River and about 1km to Wawel Castle. This is a classic standard of IBIS hotels within the Accor chain. The building is shared with the Novotel hotel, with which it also has a shared garage parking. The premises are in a classic modern style, the reception staff is friendly and helpful, as are the other staff. Access to the rooms only via card-operated elevators, which is excellent from a security point of view. The rooms are also clean and classically equipped according to the IBIS standard. The room is small, but sufficient for a short stay for a less demanding guest. There is no safe or refrigerator in the room, but that is in the room description. The curtains are excellent, blackout. The mattresses are comfortable. The bed is large enough even for a 195cm tall person. The bathroom is large enough with a shower cubicle. Breakfast was excellent, a wide selection and very pleasant was the soup, pancakes, homemade cake, spreads etc. - Rooms 510 and 505 only approximately correspond to the picture. For example, there was no work desk at all, only a small round table. The air conditioning had a foul cat/wet dog like smell. I don't know if the hotel allows pets. The additional mattresses were constantly sliding on the surface of the bed, which was very annoying. There is a smart TV, but Android TV starts very slowly, moreover the TV is not connected to wifi, so its smart functions cannot be used.

We had a wonderful stay at Ibis Centrum. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a fantastic location—just a short walk from Wawel Castle and close to many of Kraków’s main attractions. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of fresh and tasty options each morning. The staff were absolutely lovely—friendly, helpful, and always welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a great base for exploring the city. We’d definitely stay here again!
