Location is very convenient, close to Kraków Główny, the main train station. There's also a shopping centre above the station. The distance to the old town is within 10 minutes on foot. Check-in was quick and painless. At the same time of our stay, there was a large group of students from Japan staying at the same hotel, as well as some teachers attending a conference. Regardless, the hotel seemed to be able to handle the group well. Room was nicely equipped with basic necessities like 2 bottles of water and standard amenities. If there's something to criticise, it would be the design of the front and bathroom doors, it's best not to open both doors at the same time. This is, however, is a very minor complaint. The breakfast was also very good, with more than enough varieties of standard staples and local delicacies. The staff were very quick and efficient too. Mercure Kraków Stare Miasto deserves a 5 out of 5 rating.

I really loved the hotel. It's near to all attractions and in front of it you have a mall. Facilities were nice!!! If someday I come back to Cracow definitely I will stay in this hotel. Also food is really good. The breakfast was 100 points .....

These 4 young women who assisted us at the registration desk were extremely intelligent and kind. We had had a very long night and day getting to Krakow. Needed a room at the last minute…fortunately Mercure Old Town was right across from Galeria Krakowska! Got a 3rd floor room, very quiet, good lighting, beds uber comfortable. Cost reasonable for lux quality. Would def return.

All good except the loud music...

I use this hotel regularly for business trips, but this time my room was right next to the upstairs lobby (floor 1). Every morning I woke up at 6 when they put the music on. It was so loud, and for no reason. Nobody needs music in the empty lobby! I asked the reception to help, but nothing happened - same every morning. So those rooms I will no longer accept.

The place to stay for a short break in Krakow.

Great centrally located hotel. Handy for all you need. Food was very good as were the hotel and restaurant staff. Ulyana was the person who served us most during the weekend. Pleasant and very helpful young lady. We would recommend this hotel for your stay in Krakow.
