This is a pretty standard Ibis Budget Hotel, with the usual clean, but spartan accommodations. It is located near the main highway and just a couple miles from the ancient city fortifications. The cold breakfast was more than adequate with a reasonable selection. Staff were firendly and helpful. There's plenty of free parking on location - the back lot is secured with a passcode for entrance. There are only a few restaurants nearby.

Booked to stay here for couple off nights to see lovely area before getting train to Barcelona Staff at reception very friendly and happy to help - breakfast was good value for money and good selection. Not far from attractions nearby. Recommend Picture from canal ride 20 minutes walk away

A great quality/price Hotel. Clean,near the La Cité and near the City. Free parking, and excelent recepcionist, nice boy. You can go walking around, there are a supermarket near, a boulangerie and a mcDonalds.

Very good value and convenient hotel for visiting Carcassonne. Walk-able to the medieval Cite although not the best part of town so not sure if safe after dark. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Room clean and adequate but quite small as you would expect for a budget hotel so virtually no space for luggage. Would stay again.

Great location for a historic visit

Used as an overnight on our way south, but timed the visit so we could spend the afternoon/evening visiting the historic Cite and the town too. Arrived at about 15.00 and simple check-in left us ample time to walk the 15mins to the citadel. Handy map available meant we could explore without getting lost. Returned to hotel after eating. Room more than adequate, and appreciated the ability to NOT have the bunk over our double bed. Good nights sleep - we had a rear facing room - and after the usual decent buffet breakfast we were off and on our way bright and early.
