Nice stay. We stayed in a chalet with no kitchenette. It would have been helpful to have a tea towel as dish washing liquid is supplied.

We had a 6 night stay at Puka Park in late January. Initially it was not what we imagined, but we found it to be a very peaceful and quiet location with the rooms set amongst the trees which was really lovely. You do get some exercise walking up and down from the main reception house, but the staff are very accommodating if one needs some motorised assistance using their golf type buggies to get around. If there was one thing to point out, it was the absence of insect screening on the sliding door out to the room patio, and being in the middle of bush, the insects are inevitable, so we had to keep the room closed up at night with the aircon on.

The rooms are well-appointed and provide a private and peaceful environment. The pool was great, and the food at the restaurant was superb. Enjoyed sunset drinks on the deck.

My husband and I stayed two nights in a one bedroom chalet (no. 33) for two nights. It is very comfortable and the only extra I would have liked would have been laundry facilities in the room. We dined in the restaurant for dinner one night and breakfast one morning and enjoyed both. We also liked the happy hour with reduced pricing. The staff were friendly and happy to help especially Lauren on Reception.
