wonderful stay

rooms are spacious. staff was very helpful. Mr. Alfons, Mr. Alex, Ms. Nerea and ms Martha all were well trained well mannered persons. there is no fridge in the rooms. location is good. supermarket is on walkable distance. overall wonderful experience .

Complaint about stay – serious hygiene issues and BED BUG infestation

During our stay at this hotel, we encountered serious hygiene issues. The room appeared not to have been cleaned at all: there was dust and hair from previous guests everywhere, and the room had an unpleasant smell. The bedding was also stained and clearly not fresh. After noticing red bumps and itching on our bodies, we decided to inspect the bed thoroughly. When we lifted the sheets and mattress protector, we were shocked to discover a severe BED BUG infestation. When we reported this to the front desk, their initial response was simply to offer clean sheets and have us sleep in the same room again. We refused. Only after prolonged discussion and insistence on our part did they arrange a different hotel for us. Although we were refunded, we had to use that money immediately to pay for the new hotel ourselves. Therefore, there was absolutely no compensation for the inconvenience, damage, or time lost. Unfortunately, we also had to leave behind half of our belongings, as the bed bugs had spread to our luggage. As a result, we lost two full days of our trip: first to inspect and discard affected items, and then to find medical help and a pharmacy in a foreign country due to the severe itching and skin irritation. No further help was offered by the hotel. Without our own persistence, we would have been completely left on our own. This experience was not only unpleasant but also caused us considerable physical, emotional, and financial distress.

Great stay near to Barcelona

A great stay at this no frills Ibis hotel. If you are happy to stay out of the city this is a great choice, there are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby with the majority of them offering a warm welcome to visitors - be careful of the bar next door to and attached to the hotel, we were massively overcharged for 2 drinks (€20!) The hotel itself is friendly with helpful and accommodating staff, the bed was comfortable and the AC worked perfectly. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful every morning. It is a little tired in areas but on the whole a great stay on the outskirts of Barcelona.

After my reservation i asked them to provide electric output extender near the bed for my CPAP machine but when i arrived there, there wasn't any extender. I asked lobby, they didn't help me. I went to market and payed 20euros for extender. Hotel is so far from city center. You need to get train which it takes 40 min. to arrive center. If you want to go by taxi it cost 30euros one way. From airport to hotel taxi cost around 60 euros one way. Everyday i needed to go lobby and activate my room keycard because when i come back from outside it wasn't working properly. After 9:30 pm there is no any market to buy something around hotel.

Very pleasant well-run hotel on the outskirts of Barcelona.

As hotels in central Barcelona where either booked-out or overpriced, I decided to stay a bit further out at a reasonable price. This hotel is perfect for that purpose. It can easily be reached from Barcelona by the R4 line; taking about 25 minutes. The hotel itself is very well-appointed, comfortable, and well-run. My room was unusually spacious and comfortable for an IBIS hotel. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was good. There is a pleasant bar. Overall I think this is an excellent choice of comfortable and affordable accommodation to use as a base for visiting Barcelona and further afield.
