Good stay and appreciated very much making the reservation with in-house agent Josiane Okuka. She tended to my requests so that my stay could be uninterrupted with service requests. Only recurring glitch are the bathrobes. Great service from house valet Oscar who found me a men's large; the suite only had women's medium! Same issue I had at the Sofitel in Luxemburg where they could not find anything bigger than a women's medium that would not even have fit some of staff! But Sofitel Berlin always has the right size and SO thankful that Montreal could find a fit! They were able to accommodate the fit on the stay after this one, too. I'm not an overly big man, but want a comfortable bathrobe fit Missed the usual extra chair in the suite, but should have called to ask about it. Restaurant maitre d' was supurb (from the Netherlands) and waiter Thomas and others great (had all my meals in the restaurant). Looking forward do dining there again despite the rather limited menu. I'll be staying there again shortly and look forward to the stay. Also, ACCOR seems to have a good COVID-19 policy running (although I miss room service!)

Really enjoyed my week's stay at the Sofitel. Great location. Well appointed rooms with light switches that didn't need a degree to operate. Liked the little table by the door to put things on. Very comfortable bed. A large desk with proper chair for working. Good outlets for charging devices. Clean bathroom. A wardrobe with a light and lots of coat hangers. The restaurant and bar were terrific. Lovely staff and great food and wine. Concierge very helpful too.

Had a great stay, and would stay again in a heartbeat. The location is great, especially if you're a runner or walker. Mount Royal is just a few blocks up, and has a good network of paths and trails, some paved others not. The hotel is basically on the the north end of true downtown, a mile and change from the Old Port. I prefer this location to the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth, which is too busy and central for my tastes. Fairmont looked huge, corporate, and hectic every time we passed by. I can't speak to the rooms, etc., though. The hotel itself is nice, modern-ish in the usual Sofitel way, and rooms are well-appointed. We only had breakfast at the on-site bar/restaurant, but that was excellent, and the staff were very kind and attentive without hovering. The GM went out of his way to introduce himself to us at check-in (I'm ALL Diamond) and provided his card if we needed anything. We didn't, because the rest of the staff handled our few needs flawlessly.

No maid/cleaning service on Saturday. She came by to offer towels but then never came back. Otherwise, very comfortable room. The food and service at the Renoir were exceptional. Valet parking worked very well. Front desk staff efficient and pleasant.

I was there for a Freedom 55 conference, check in and room was great. My only complaint is that I asked for a late checkout as our flight was not until late Thursday night and it was an extra 99 dollars which i thought was a bit steep

Two night stay. Friday and Saturday 28th and 29th Feb. Hotel is well located and staff were pleasant. We where asked if we wanted a newspaper delivered to the room the next morning, we said yes, but no paper was ever delivered. Room was ok in terms of size and amenities. Very nice bed and sheets. Good blackout curtains. Room was clean but shows more signs of fatigue than expected for an establishment with your rating (peeling/ worn wallpaper, very mediocre finish carpentry). Disappointed with the one nespresso capsule each for the morning. As I said, overall, ok, but I won’t be recommending go it and we won’t be staying again.
