Horrible experience at ibis budget Dandenong

My stay at ibis Dandenong was very horrific, they do not prove any service not even toilet papers and clean bathroom. I would prefer to stay at any other hotel in Dandenong.

Cheapest in Dandenong when we booked. The room was small and basic as expected. The bed in room 102 has wheels and moves. Morning housekeeping knocks at 930am. Too early for our liking. We had to request for a bin in the room, as it didn't have one. Noisy in the morning as we can hear pushing and moving from upstairs.The bed was comfortable, air-condition and light was good. Slept well enough. The reception can be friendlier.

Very disappointing, I know it’s budget but I expected more carrying the Ibis brand! It seemed very much like a backpackers.

The perfect place to stay if you want to be woken up by your neighbour's farts...

Very disappointed. Dirty room (pubes in the bathroom, thick layer of dust on the shelf, filthy kettle, & hard as a rock bed. Bathroom resembled a porta loo with an added shower. High step up into it, & hardly any room to turn around. Poor ventilation & water flooded the room under the shower door, due to the elevation. No lifts at all so you have no choice but to haul your luggage up 2 flights of stairs. Paper thin walls meant I was woken multiple times every night by the neighbour's burps, farts and coughs. No extra blanket and it was chilly. Dodgy DIY window made it impossible to safely open for any fresh air (lock was broken). Definitely do NOT recommend.

You give IBIS a bad name

I don't usually post reviews, but when I do it's either extremely bad or extremely good. This place is beyond redemption. I cannot imagine how did this business survive except for as a long term migrant hostel paid for by the home department, which seems to be the case. How can you call yourself a hotel? Avoid at all costs.
