Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment over 3 nights. The days were very warm but as there was NO air conditioning in either bedroom, and the duct in the loungeroom never worked properly even after the maintenance guy tried to fix it, the whole apartment was way too hot for our entire stay. To make it worse, there was NO window in 2nd bedroom and, as the windows are floor to ceiling, the room was incredibly hot over our stay making it very uncomfortable for the guests in that room to sleep even when staff gave us a pedestal fan. There is not even air conditioning in the hallways. There were stains on the sheets that needed to be replaced and the whole apartment was nowhere near the size that the photoshopped pictures on the company website portrayed. There was a 2-seater lounge but it was way too small to accommodate 4 people comfortably. Even when 4 people sat on the verandah, the road and rail noise from the ground level made it very difficult to even talk normally. We were there visiting a family member having life-saving surgery at the nearby hospital which made the whole stay even more stressful.

Good position for Caulfield

This is a very comfortable stay in Malvern. We wanted to be close to friends in Caulfield and this location is hard to beat in the suburbs, a stone’s throw from the station with its express train to the city. We had a 2 bedroom apartment. The beds were very comfortable and the apartment was spotless. However there are no shelves in the cupboards and very few hangers so it is near impossible to unpack even though there is ample cupboard space. The views are fantastic! There is no restaurant but there are 2 lovely breakfast spots nearby: Junior and Cafe Sepore. My major disappointment is that there was no service. I expected the rooms to be serviced daily. Maybe I missed that in the fine print?? I stayed for 6 nights. There are only 2 lifts and this is a busy building - I think a lot of long term stays. Reception was great at receiving packages but we had very little else to do with them. Overall, a useful base for Caulfield and a practical stay.

Use the Sebel as acoomodation centre for reunion of 7 couples. All way happy with service and quality of rooms. Good range of food venues nearby and Caulfield race track easy walk although we had to hire a car to take us to Sandown due to Caulfield racetrack recent fire. That was no problem short drive or easy train trip direct to Sandown racecourse. Racecourse hotel nearby excellent food.

I just wanted to take the time to say thank you to the Sebel Melbourne staff. We have just had a weekend in an apartment there and found the staff, Pra in particular to be delightful. He was enthusiastic, friendly, helpful and good at giving local recommendations. We loved TOAST IT, best chocolate thick shake ever, highly recommend it 😋 The apartment was very clean, beds comfortable and the shower amazing. Parking was great and we used the spa on our last night and really enjoyed it. Thank you for making our stay a pleasant and enjoyable one.
