Welcoming and helpful reception staff. Room was comfortable, modern and quiet with air conditioning and a nice en-suite shower room. Breakfast room was well equipped and choice was excellent and tasty. Good location on edge of the old town.

I think Ibis is the best choice in Bratislava which doesn't have many hotels. The hotel is centrally located within 10 minutes walk to old town and 12-15 minutes walk to Most SNP bus station (from where you can catch buses to Vienna airport) . The hotel lobby is small but the room is of a decent size. I had to go to the lobby for hot water so it would have been nice if there was a kettle in the room. The best thing about this hotel is the breakfast which was excellent with a good selection of hot food (eggs, sausages, mushrooms, baked beans), bread/pastries, cold cuts, fruits, cereals etc. There's also decent pizza place just up the road from the hotel.

Room is old but clean and big as compared to other Ibis. Basic hotel so no amenities. A bit old property. Enough space to store luggage. Bathroom is a bit small. Only bath towels and bathmat provided. Linen and towels were a bit stained and old. Excellent service by all front staff, they are welcoming and friendly. Air con temperature was a bit of an issue but as we could open the window fully, it didn’t matter. I was expecting my welcome drink as a silver member but was denied as I booked through Agoda. I did receive welcome drinks and upgrades at other Ibis hotels even though reservations were made on 3rd party.

We were at the breakfast with friends in this hotel and it was incredible. The standart of the menu was very good + some sweets as delicious sour cream dessert. The chef told us they are changing some parts of menu throughout of the seasons. They have all kinds of breads and milk (based on your preferences). I liked also interior design - very cozy, homey but also hotel friendly. Everything was clean - very important. Me and my friends felt very welcomed. Thank you:-).

I leave with excellent experiences during my visit to Bratislava. We stayed at the Ibis Bratislava Centrum hotel. Hotel receptionist Mr. Matthew is an extremely kind and helpful staff member. We thank you. After changing rooms, we unknowingly opened the windows and smoked 3 cigarettes in our room on the 4th floor. The last warning message was left in our room the next day. It was stated in the message that we would have to automatically pay a 100 Euro penalty. We took this warning into consideration and did not smoke. During check-out, a photo of 3 cigarettes taken by the housekeeper was put in front of us and a 100 Euro penalty was asked from us in an extremely strict manner. The General Manager came to assist. We were told that if we do not pay this fine, you will have to clean 10 rooms. This is an extremely insulting attitude. Especially as a tourism professional, this is the first time in my life that I have encountered such a derogatory statement from a tourism professional. This does not suit the ACCOR hotel chain and harms all the beauties of Bratislava. On this issue, the lady on duty at the reception at 11.30 in the morning also displayed a very harsh and uncompromising attitude. As a result, we paid some money as a penalty and checked out. As a tourism professional working with the ACCOR hotel group, I condemn this situation on behalf of ACCOR HOTELS. Kind regards

Just to be clear, you permanently smoked in both rooms despite it is forbidden in our hotel and despites a hotel warning. Additionally, during your check-in you clearly stated with your signature on registration card that you acknowledge the fact that hotel is fully non-smoking and in case you smoke in the room a penalty of 100 Euro will automatically apply. After our discussion at reception during your departure I gave you 70% discount just because you finally admit that you consciously broke the rule by smoking in the rooms and top of it you identified yourself as colleague from travel industry. Do not take me wrong but 10 clean rooms was just figurative comparison out of real content. Somehow you did not mentioned this in your feedback neither that you end up paying only 30 Euro penalty, being so grateful and fully satisfied with my final decision I made regarding your undeniable violation of hotel regulation. Now the question is what is more extremely insulting attitude? Conscious violation of hotel regulation by smoking in the room even after warning or figurative comparison of 10 clean rooms?
