Excellent location in the Eiffel tower area. Rooms are terrible. the second bed is a sofa cum bed with absolute discomfort. The toilet and bathroom are separate and very small. There is no wash basin in the toilet and for washing hands one has to use bathroom. This is ridiculous. No water bottles are provided in the room. The standards of service is poor. In the breakfast, there is same menu everyday. We stayed for five nights and felt totally bored with the same menu. There is huge scope for improvement,if management would care. There is no value for money here.

Mercure Paris offers a pretty fantastic experience for guests. The hotel is located in a prime spot right next to the Eiffel Tower, providing great views and a convenient location with two metro stations just a 5-7 minute walk away. The room, especially the largest one booked by us, was spacious by European standards and includes separate facilities for the commode and bathing area. The staff is extremely helpful, with a special mention of an Indian / Asian staff member (unfortunately we didn't catch his name) at the reception and he went above and beyond to assist us with transporting our bags in the middle of the night. The breakfast is was good, featuring a wide variety of options. The hotel itself was quite swanky, sky-scraper experience and has a pool, multiple restaurants, and a bar. Overall, highly recommend Mercure Paris for its exceptional location, views, and overall luxurious experience, making it a must-stay destination in Paris.

We arrived at the hotel earlier than the check-in time. When this happens in the US, they usually give us early check-in (of course, sometimes they don't, so we knew they could refuse too), so we were in line at reception, hoping to ask. Then a guy named Ahcene, who looked like a manager or something, walked by and yelled at us very rudely, "Check-in is at 4:00; come back then!!". We kept standing in line anyway to ask the reception staff if we could get an early check-in because we were unsure who Ahcene was. Then Ahcene went off to do something else and came back out and yelled again, "I said 4:00!!! Come back at 4:00!!!". I was confused as to whether I was there as a customer or a prisoner of this hotel. It was very insulting. It was a level of verbal abuse that no human being should ever do to another human being in modern society. There were four of us traveling together; we were lawyers and other high-profile professionals, and we had never experienced such disrespect in our lives, at least in the past ten years. If Ahcene is indeed the manager, I think this person should be fired from the hotel. He had many choices: to ask us politely or just let us ask questions at the reception desk. Can't we have the freedom to ask questions at the reception desk? Or can't he politely ask us if it's too busy now and cannot give us an early check-in? (It was not that busy. There was only one group in front of us in the reception desk line.) It was an extremely unpleasant experience (it was the worst experience in my last ten years and also in the whole European continent).

We booked Executive Room with 1 Queen Bed with sofa bed. Room was clean and tidy. Very poor service. No bottled water, No dental kit or shaving kit in the bathroom. There is a so called EasyStore in the lobby area. If you want something pay 50€ deposit and buy what you need. Rooms span 25 floors Breakfast Resturant is much smaller. Expect at least 20 - 25 minutes waiting in a queue to have your breakfast. Housekeeping is average and Staff is very rude if you point out any cleanliness issue.

Great hotel close to everything, all clean and in good order. Right next to a big shopping mall,the metro getting you to all the places of interest was very close. A great restaurant near by called Islanda. Only fault no drawers to put clothes in and lifts a bit complicated.
