The hotel is good, but don't book a taxi with them! I booked one for Gare de Lyon and they sent me to Orly airport. Fortunately, I realised my mistake before I got to the airport and didn't miss my train. But the driver was stupid from the start, he didn't say good morning or ask us where we were going, and then he charged us extra for this mistake that wasn't ours. This is unacceptable for a hotel like this, work with this kind of person and do not pay attention to what the guests are saying in the first place. Better not to offer the service!

Our stay at the Novotel near Javel station was excellent. The hotel is conveniently located 400 metres from the station, remember to use the exit at the rear of the station which is much closer. This four-star hotel truly earned its rating. We enjoyed a fantastic room with a picturesque view on the 25th floor and a delightful breakfast buffet featuring a wide variety of choices including a made-to-order omelette station. The on-site Japanese restaurant ( Benkay) was a highlight and the salmon was particularly delicious. The only disappointment was the bar service of the hotel. The bar is located on the second floor next to the reception. Arriving around 10 PM while a UK football match was showing we were told seating near the TV was unavailable as the area was closing soon. However, other guests remained in that area for over an hour after we were seated elsewhere, which was very frustrating. The prices of the beverages in the bar were expensive and cocktails were really not value for money. Despite this, we had a wonderful break overall and would still highly recommend this conveniently located hotel for exploring Paris. The hotel is only a short train ride to the Effiel Tower. In general, the hotel is good in terms of location and staff, but the problem with the rooms is that they are very old, especially the bathrooms. For me, the inability to open the window is a big problem, as I suffer from shortness of breath, and this was not mentioned during the reservation. Also, the floor is old carpet and not completely clean. You feel dust rising from it, and this is not hygienic at all. There is no ventilation system in the rooms. Ac is old not working well.

Would not recommended it!

Reception was slow and rude! I asked for tea and coffee to be topped up in my room, after all it should have been done when the room was cleaned, we waited for 2 hours before going back to reception and asking for it again! Then there was no milk, apparently they don’t give milk- it needs to be ordered via room service- which I did but 30 mins later - no milk, it took 5 phone calls and a conversation with a manager to get some milk delivered to my room! For the price I paid, the service was beyond basic and I will not be staying here again and do not recommend it!

One of the worst stay I would say. I was surprised to see such cheap hotel being ACCOR brand that to bear the brand NOVOTEL. The NOVOTEL is normally known as best for their hospitality and service but unfortunately this hotel was terrible. Everything from check in to check out was terrible. Let me start with my reason for making such statement. 1. Almost everyone in the reception gives a cold face during check-in as if they are showing us sympathy to us by offering a room. A nice smile would have been perfect but unfortunately NO. 2. The room really need some renovation. It was very old . It is a very very basic room just with a coffee maker. Very small room as well. In the bathroom there is only towel and bath gel and shampoo. Nothing Else . Surprise to see no HAIR CONDITIONER, NO BODY LOTION , NO SHOWER CAP …nothing . I called reception but they mentioned they don’t provide those. They don’t provide shaving kit , Dental kit …,absolutely nothing. It is a huge disappointment. 3. The corridor from lift to room was stinking with bed smell. The vacuum cleaner was lying in the corridor in the walkway which gives a very unhygienic feeling. 4. The Breakfast was badly organized. For ordering an egg omelette, You need to wait in line which is simply waste of time. They can take the order and deliver to your table but this is not the case. If it is very very crowded be ready to wait for 1 hour to order your OMELETTE. Horrible. 5. I requested for a wake-up call but they told me wake-up call is not working and asked me to put the alarm in mobile . It is embarrassing as if I don’t know the alarm feature in my mobile phone. Only positive part is the location of the hotel which is walkable to Eiffel Tower with lots of shopping streets and eateries and restaurants around. For sure I will never stay in this hotel near future. A real disappointment. During check out I requested for a print out of my invoice but the receptionist mentioned that the printer is not working. They sent it over email though.
