Mini luxurious home far from home

We arrived around 10pm and were warmly received by the receptionist. Am sorry but I forgot her name. Check in was fast and we got our room rapidly. We were pleasantly surprised by the apartment. It is luxurious, well decorated and had all amenities. It was like a mini luxurious home far from home. We even had a welcome message and chocolates waiting for us. Thank you Laura. The bed were big and comfortable. Kitchen well equiped and the filtered water dispenser was a big plus. Each room has a TV and the channels provided kept the kids entertained. Bathroom was clean and well equipped with bathtub and shower. We had hot water at each water point. After a long tiring day, we could relax in the bathtub. The pool is situated on the 8th floor and can only be accessed with your room card. The water was warm and the kids had fun swimming. You get towels to use there and you can dispose of them in the towel bin once done. The hotel is attached to a mall, Deira City Centre Mall, which you can access through the parking lot. You can do your shopping there. There is a Carrefour and pratically all the shops that we had in Al Ghurair mall. The restaurants offer different types of food. We had delicious food at Hatam and Gazebo restaurants. You also have Tim Horton's, Dunkin, Krispy Kreme and cafés as well as fast food restaurants. You have a wide variery of choice in fact. Check out was fast. All the staff members we encountered during our stay were smiling and welcoming. Overall a very pleasant and memorable stay.

Disappointing service level and poor attention to detail

Disappointing stay. I used the laundry service but the laundry went missing. When it was located after I'd checked out, I was asked to pay for delivery to my new hotel which of course I refused. When the laundry was eventually delivered, it was transported unprotected and so got damaged en route. An item went missing from my room, the head of security investigated and said he would assist with a police report, when i followed up i was told it was not the hotel's policy to assist with a police report. I requested an invoice for my stay made out to my business name, this did not happen, I followed up with Lavinia Marquez ("VIP AMBASSADOR"), received a response addressed to someone else's name but still not the amended invoice, I then escalated to Accor support, who sent me by mistake a response to someone else's query rather than mine. I am still waiting to this day for the invoice.

Regarding the invoice, we have checked our records, and it appears that the corrected invoice was sent to your email. However, we sincerely apologize for the confusion and the human error in addressing it to the wrong name. We understand the importance of having the correct details, and we have immediately resent the correct invoice to you . Please accept our sincerest apologies for this mistake and the delay in receiving the invoice. With regards to the missing item from your room, we do understand how unsettling such an experience can be. While our hotel policy requires guests to file a police report in case of missing items, we are more than happy to assist with providing any necessary information that may help in the process. We regret if our communication about this policy was not clear and properly conveyed. We are truly sorry that these issues overshadowed your stay with us, as we strive to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience for all our guests. We value your feedback and are committed to improving our service standards based on your experience. Tout était parfait. L'hôtel est bien situé à côté d'une galerie marchande. Le personnel a été très attentif et le personnel de nettoyage au petit soin. Il y a une superbe piscine au 8ème étage. On s'est senti très bien dans cet hôtel.

Verblijf was weer top. Personeel ook weer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het enige minpuntje was de kookplaat. Wil je even een eitje koken of bakken neem daar de tijd voor want voordat je het weet ben je zeker 15 minuten verder en dan is je eitjes nog niet gaar.
