This hotel has a bad smell. I think it is not wert vell cleaned. Bathroom is like you are in a boat, not in a hotel room. The view is unpleasant. TV unit is a little bit strange. It gives you an impression that you are in a caravan. I travel alot, first time to see this. But the crew is kind and nice, so two stars.

Worst Novotel we have stayed ever. Bed is not good. No glass in the room not for drinking water not for toothbrush. Only paper cups provided. Coffee machine is not ok. We didn't like the coffee at all and have to ask for stirrer and coffee refill. Breakfast is repetitive and kind a boring. They even served croissant that tastes half cooked on 2nd January. Once we were having a coffee in the lobby and the night staff Victoria misbehaved with us that it was not complementary in a harsh way. But we clearly remember the morning staff told us we can have coffee here. Probably some miscommunication between them. But their behavior with the guest was totally unacceptable. When we cleared our position and reminded them to be polite they said sorry in a half hearted way. Overall extremely unpleasant experience. I would not suggest anybody to stay here. It says in Novotel but provide service like a 2 star or worse. Although it says Novotel City centre but it's a long walk with kids to the centre or promenade. This kind of experience ruin your holiday. We are travelling the world in last 15 years and also living in Europe from last 5 years. But never encountered such a poor behavior from the hotel staff, specially when it's Novotel.

Booked this hotel extremely last minute as was the best option at the time for the price. Price was good compared to the rest of cannes but that is only one of few positives. The other positives are that you have a coffee machine in your room (but no milk, you need to buy this), water stations in the hallway and nice croissants for breakfast with outdoor seating but that's it. Breakfast is tiny. Limited options and no omlettes or fried egg (only cold boiled egg). Nice croissants and that's about it. The room smelt bad. Like mouldy aircon or a very musky horrible smell. We didn't ask to move as only stayed 3 nights but i tried to turn the aircon off and open the window which helped only a bit. I think the whole hotel needs a revamp and go check their aircon units. Room is a ship like style with a separate toilet and you get a microwave in the room too. Not great storage for clothes. We won't be staying here again, but at least we saved a lot of money compared to staying elsewhere. Walk to centre of cannes and back is OK, but long with children.

We are staying in this hotel since 2017 but I will be checking other options next year. It became so much more expensive, customer service is non exstent, they resemble processing station. They don’t care if you are returning guests, unlike previous years they have not provided welcome amenity or upgrade for elite membership and charged at check in! Drink voucher was for one person only- no other Accor hotel does it! Yes it is familiar size and comfort and they added Rituals toileteries but it does not compensate for slipping standards. I still gave four stars as everything worked but it has lost its ambience.

This hotel has all the charm of an aircraft toilet. From the uncomfortable bed, undersides pillows, dirty toilets, lack of water in the room, weedy shower, to the unsavoury fridge of meals you can microwave in your room for supper. Not great.
