We came for one night passing through, so we chose it mainly for location. Staff was very kind, free parking, nice breakfast (though no non-dairy milk). Rooms were a bit small but the bed was comfortable. I don't know if the price is justified.

Śniadania ok pokój malutki , ale nie było tragedii. Trochę głośno (hotel przy ruchliwej ulicy). Jak na hotel 2* jest dobrze i całokształt spełnił moje oczekiwania.

I stayed at the Ibis Berlin Spandau hotel for one night in the middle of September this year and was pleased with the stay. There were a direct S-Bahn train all the way from the Berlin (BER) Airport but the trip took a over one hour as the train starts from the Airport and terminate at Spandau, so it's quite a distance both from the Airport, but also to the city center that its about 35 minute ride too, but as the public transport in Berlin is pretty inexpensive, it's Worth it. The Ibis Berlin Spandau hotel was also the cheapest red Ibis hotel in the Berlin area available at an attractive rate that weight up for the remote location and travel time. I was allocated a room on the top floor just as per my request and was heartly acknowledged as an Accor ALL Gold member and given a complimentary two hour early check in as well. The reception staff was most courteous with a smile and it showed that they both enjoyed their jobs and had worked up a good routine, which I know from previous experiences in other locations is not always the case in suburban Ibis locations, which of course is complimentary for me as an Accor shareholder too. The room was a standard red Ibis hotel room with all the standard amenities and features. The view from the windows offered spectacular views and the room was spotlessy clean as well. WiFi Connection strong and consistent throughout the whole stay. The only discrepancy would be that the wall-mounted Philips brand flat screen Smart-TV that was fitted with a Chromecast couldn't be properly used, as it wasn't connected to the Internet. The location is right beside the S- and U-Bahnhof and Rathaus Spandau and built in and upon the galleria/mall "Spandau Arcaden" that unfortunately was a failing mall with several stores closed, only a small Netto minimart, as the Edeka hypermarket now is closed, but there is a big Kaufland hypermarket a 10 minute walk away. Unfortunately the area right outside the hotel and the galleria and especially the train station is a hot spot for a lot of drug addicts, homless people and irregular migrants and that made it a little bit sad and after dark also it made me feeling somewhat unsafe. But over all I was very pleased with this hotel and it is Worth it for the very attractive rates despite the distant location. I therefore recommend the Ibis Berlin Spandau hotel and would stay there again!
