Great hotel in the heart of Munich

Me and my family stay at this hotel for a 3 nights. It’s located 3 minutes to the S as well as U. The S can take you to the airport. The breakfast at the hotel is great. The wellness center is great. The pool on from 6AM till midnight. The sauna and the gym open till 11PM. The hotel is very clean and well decorated. The staff are friendly and hospitality.

The bad: The rooms are absolutely tiny. We were two people and it was not enough space. Could not even navigate around room. Reminded me of a japanese hotel. Furthermore, the A/C is NOT good. The coldest our room got was 75 degrees. We even bought a fan from a nearby electronics store just to try and bring the temperature down. When we had hotel staff visit the room, they said A/C was working and this was coldest it got. Breakfast is beyond subpar too. NOT worth the $25. The good: The staff are very accommodating at all parts of the hotel. When we requested a room clean later in the day, it was done. The location near Rosenheimer Platz helps a lot as well.

Terrible service all the way. Booked a “ Executive Room with 1 Double bed and Sofa - New Construction 2 Adults , 2 Children The room in the new building boasts first-class comfort and features a double bed (160x200 cm), sofa, Nespresso machine, TV and an open wardrobe. An extra cot is available on request” 201 euro ! The room was placed in a dark end of the basement. Handicap toilet and an awefull sleeping sofa. Dark and unpleasent. Nothing near “a first class comfort”. We have stayed at Novotels hotels before in both Nürnberg and Berlin. Every time a first class experience. We complained and instead got two different rooms splitting up the family. In none of the rooms did the television work. I afsked for help two times at the reception. We were told that they would send someone to fix it. Never did. Seemed all together that they did not care about coustomer service at all. Terrible experience. Find another place to stay.

Recently stayed at this hotel with my family. Room was very spacious and clean. Bar and reception area all very nice. Swimming pool was decent. Breakfast i thought was overpriced at 29euro so we didn't bother so cant comment on it. 10 or so minute walk to Marianplatz area so well located. Would stay again if visiting Munich.
