I am a regular at this hotel and they have recently moved to a new soap and shampoo line. Unfortunately, this does not include hair conditioner. Would have been good to know this before my stay, as I would have brought some along.

Located in a good spot near railway station and not too far from the city , national parks and the northern beaches. Simple motel with outstanding staff. Limited meals but plenty of restaurants within walking distance or a short drive away

Absolutely appalled by the state of the room we were given. Even the Budget Ibis's I've stayed at were held to a higher standard than this place. Upon entering our room we were greeted by a musty smell, which would make sense as there was mould from the top of the window to the ceiling. From there it got even better- Threadbare carpets, cobwebs, thick dust covering the tv, bed lights and headboard, filthy fridge that has obviously never been wiped out, stained linen, bathroom sink with the plug jammed so it was unusable...the list goes on! If it wasn't quite late when we arrived and we weren't leaving early in the morning I would have found alternative accommodation...even my 11yr old was disgusted and wanted to leave as it was, in her words, unsanitary! Absolute disgrace to the Ibis/Accor brand. The only positive was the free parking.

Good evening Sarah, Thank you for taking the time to let us know areas that we can improve our hotel. I do apologize we did not provide the exceptional stay that we pride ourselves on. Please be advised we will be having a rework of our housekeeping procedures in the coming weeks and certainly look to investigate which room was displaying the musty smell. Our apologies for the sink, it uses the retro system where instead of clicking the plug, there is a notch at the back of the tap, not always seen, which will open the plug and drain. We do hope you return in the near future and are able to see the improvement we have made! Staff is always fantastic. Jimmy is a great host. Thanks Jimmy. I always stay at Accor. It's the quality I must have. When I am forced to stay elsewhere ... Especially for work, I'm usually disappointed. I need consistency.. Accor and IBIS deliver.

Rooms small but this is the normal for ibis hotels Room was very clean and Sheets were extremely white and crisp food wise not good but a replacement chef hopefully will be there before we come back for another stay at the end of July
