Several times my dear late-wife and I stayed @ ibis Newcastle. I was happy to stay there again a few nights this week, one of those places you can feel at home. I arrived early but was reassured my room was ready. My vehicle was safely parked in a secure car-park at $15 per night. From my welcome until my departure the staff are both professional and competent. Just what you need after a long journey! Friendliness too. Hospitality and cleaning staff were both helpful and friendly. Congratulations Manager, you've got a great team! Would I wish for any more? not really, except maybe more power points in the room!

Stayed one night midweek. Good location close to CBD and next to a tram stop. An older area rapidly undergoing modernisation. Room surprisingly spacious and well equipped. Clean, comfy (especially the bed), quiet. Good restaurant, especially for breakfast. Friendly, very helpful and efficient staff. On-site parking for $20 a day. Free wifi. Excellent value for money.

On a very tight budget, and was suitably impressed with the comfort and cleanliness of our twin room. All staff were very friendly and thoughtful of our needs. Everything was an easy walk from the hotel. The only thing I would suggest in the room would be a stand for your bag. The price was excellent.

Consistently good service and the room is clean and neat. I stayed here for business and enjoyed my stay. The hotel is centrally located and the rooms are adequate. It isn’t super luxury but then you don’t pay a super price either. All perfectly fine and the staff were great.

Good two night stay with everything provided

Room was stuffy with wife upping the aircon. I found out that the window could be opened for ventilation. During these covid times when ventilation is important, a note could be left in the room. Only 3 pillows on bed, but got another next day. Breakfast was a great deal with a wide range. Room was serviced each day and exceptionally well. Staff were attentive and helpful. Overall very good.
