I've stayed here quite a number of times, and always been mostly satisfied-but was very satisfied this time. 😊 After an efficient and friendly check in I got a better first impression compared with my most recent visit last year - the new carpet in the corridors was long overdue. The lift was also looking in better shape. No changes in the room itself, but it was impeccably clean (again a big improvement from last year when I was greeted with some used male underwear from a previous guest). The bed, as always was super comfy and I appreciated there was a variety of different pillow firmnesses to choose from. The shower was hot and powerful, and I find the small pod bathroom absolutely fine, the shower cubicle itself is of a good size. I enjoyed dinner in hummingbirds with a generous portion, delicious chicken parmi (or "parma" for anyone from Victoria 😁) and friendly service. The only minor point for improvement was at breakfast where items (food, condiments and utensils/glasses etc) were not being replaced fast enough before they ran out, despite it not being overly busy. There was ample variety when things were replenished though, and it was tasty 😋 Overall great value, I'll be back!

I came up from Sydney for a planned family outing. I stayed for one night only, checking in about 5:00 PM and out about 8:30 AM. I decided to drive up the night before rather than get up at 5 AM for a 2.5 hour drive to meet up for the planned early start. The room was clean and comfortable, well lit with a window opening onto the car park. It was air conditioned. Check in and check out was simple and quick. Good meals and a bar were available. Great breakfast. Parking was included. I was able to leave the car until I was ready to return home mid-afternoon (checked with the desk that I could do so).
