The entire staff is really helpful and courteous. If you have a baby then this place is definitely a budget friendly option. Would have preferred if dinner and lunches are also served even if paid and rooms had electric kettle for heating water esp for babies.

So checked in, on the evening of 8th July 2024. Friendly receptionist. We didn’t book breakfast, but said, if we want, just speak to someone in the morning and we could pay. 9th of July- approx 7.40am. My wife and I decided to go for breakfast. On getting to breakfast area, met by this female member of staff, who after giving our room number, demanded, in very rude tone that we pay NOW and go and get money! Ironically there was a sign saying…welcome. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this budget hotel.

Please understand that there was no intention of rudeness; rather, it was a communication issue. The staff member in question does not speak English fluently and relies on basic words and phrases. She did not realize that her manner of communication might come across as rude. We apologize for any distress this may have caused you. Cozy rooms! Place is around 500 metres away from Geneva City main Train station so very accessible for tourists. Everything is close by. Rooms arent very big but just enough, we stayed for 3 days. They have a paid breakfast, coffee is amazing. They provide microwave for you to heat your food. Overall comfortable stay

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had and believe me I have traveled a lot throughout Europe, Latin America, US and China. When I made the reservation for 3 people for December 14 through December 16, their website showed amazing rooms, ample with lots of amenities. When we arrived at 8:30 pm very tired and exhausted we found a totally different hotel from what they depicted on their website. When they brought us to our room we almost had a heart attack. The room was very tiny, no chair no privacy for taking a shower no place to hang your clothes and to top it all the door didn’t close all the way. When we tried to call the front desk we realized there was no phone in the room! I w Ed by downstairs and explained to the attendant and she came up to the room and said “all you have to do is push it really hard like this and you can lock it”. We told her “and when we leave? Does one of us needs to stay behind to close the door?” I went around the corner and saw everything that I had seen when I booked my room!!!!!!!!! The lobby, the bar, the reception area, everything! The attendant, Alicia, told us both hotels were the same but the other one was “the budget” and this one Novotel Ibis was more upscale. Same hotel but different prices. Dis the budget hotel gave me a refund? NO WAY! Terrible. Be careful. Novotel Ibis City-West awesome!
