Very very disappointed by this hotel please see photos The room on checking was dirty and disappointing there was a tile missing very very dirty wet room I the corridor leading to the room smelt horrible of either urine or something else breakfast no pastry available mushrooms that looked like they had been for for hours and when I mentioned about the lack off pastry all I got told were waiting on delivery's now a hotel group the size of this surely you can get the food numbers better so you always have enough for guests all in all very dissapointing experience and shocked I thought ibis was a quality stay how so wrong am i

Overall no complaints. Room was clean. tidy and comfortable with plenty of space for the two of us. Staff were friendly and helpful. There were a couple of small issues, a light wasn't working, the toilet was difficult to flush and the TV remote didn't work, but all were rectified immediately. Only problem for us was the noisy road but that is hardly the hotels fault. Plenty of parking and free WiFi. Excellent value for money.

Food being cooked in rooms and mould

Entire third floor smelt heavily of food being cooked inside some of the rooms. Have stayed here previously on other floors and there was no cooking smells. The bathroom had multiple patches of mould on the ceiling. Staff very nice and helpful. Location good for chesterfield and surrounding areas.

It's a basic hotel. If you accept that before you book then you'll love it, does just what it's supposed to do, which is provide cheap, comfortable, warm basic rooms. It's not the Ritz, which is reflected in the price. Plenty of parking in the hotels two parking areas. Roads around the hotel are busy but very safe to cross if you use a bit of common sense. Limited drinks at the bar, but again, to be expected at a budget hotel. All staff were friendly, easy check in and check out, not the place for a romantic break but ideal as a cheap base for a night or two.

This hotel is absolutely disgusting. If you are thinking of booking it …. DONT. The room has a weird sicky smell the bed is that hard it offered me out some staff nice but one man very rude offering to send me colleague out on his bum. Save you’re money.
