Staff were friendly but very dated and is a cheap budget hotel. Flaking paint and cracked tiles in the bathroom. The bed was very firm (some may like) no pressure in the shower. No glasses in the room, no spoons only wooden sticks for sitting the coffee. Normally stay in a premier inn when we visit family and thought we’d try an Ibis. Wouldn’t stay again will be going back to the Premier inn.

Some of the furnishings and décor of this hotel is a little on the older side - the swipe card system for example, although it still works - and there are some signs of fixtures needing replacing due to age. That said, the hotel is in a very convenient location for the M1 and is very reasonable in terms of price. So, good budget option and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Stayed here for a night before a long drive. Wanted to be closer to the motorway. The location is great. McDonald’s and the Harvester is near by. I got there at 5pm and the car park was empty. Reception was a bit small but the staff were very friendly. There is a lift but a very small one. Room was tidy and clean but no electric sockets by the bed (bedside tables) so needed to charge the phone elsewhere. Didn’t use the showers! The only fault was the door lock. I managed to get in the first time. But coming back the second time, I couldn’t open the door. Went to reception and they sorted it out but went back upstairs and it still wasn’t working. Went back to reception and a gentleman came up with me. He tried a couple of times nothing but then managed to open the door. He said that it is faulty and on the way out and said you need to do it gentle. He asked me if I wanted to change rooms but I explained that I was there for one night and not going out again. He was a great help and friendly. Would stay here again.

Auf Grund der hohen Auslastung durch Service Mitarbeiter einer Baufirma die alle gleichzeitig zu m Frühstück erschienen ist das Personal leider nicht dem Ansturm Herr geworden und weder Buffet noch Tische waren in einem guten Zustand. Zwei Personen waren für diesen Ansturm nicht ausreichend. Auch am Folgetag bot sich das gleiche Bild.
