Good large very clean room, checkin very quick and checkout was fantastic, good choice at breakfast. Bar and evening meal were good, staff were helpful, I have nothing to complain about, perfect for an overnight stop.

+ Good Rooms + Nice Bathroom + Near Train main station + Near Metro & Bus station + easy to reach City Centre + Not far away from City Center + Good Bar with nice Beers - No free luggage storage service

Nice rooms in a hotel very close to the Midi railway station. The rooms are clean, the bathroom is sufficient. We enjoyed the breakfast, there is enough choice of cold and warm dood, coffee and fresh pressed Orange jus

Very convenient when arriving by Eurostar to Brussels Midi. Major disappointment on check-out. I did the courteous thing and left my room early and asked to leave my bag in left luggage. Only option was lockers with a fee to pay. I feel that I was helping the hotel by leaving my room, and ths felt like a kick in the teeth. I do not expect to pay to leave a bag for half a day in a hotel where I have stayed for 2 nights. I am a loyalty card holder and proabably should have asked for a late check-out just to keep my bag in my room with no fee. Why try to help the hotel?

Thank you for this input. We have installed the luggage storage room to increase the security and limite the access towards non resident guests. This hasn't been done to increase revenue. Sorry if this was the message provide during your stay. As we have 225 rooms with a potential of 500+ guests it is impossible for us to store this on demand. Two overnight Brussels pauses between Eurostar from/to London and ICE to/from Munich. Large room - much bigger than a UK Ibis. Vast choice and quality of breakfast. Warm and welcoming staff, reception and bar, where late night frites were available with drinks. All this a few minutes from the station. Highly recommended

We have stayed for one night and extended our check out by 17:00 for an extra charge. Everything was ok but breakfast wasn’t that great. Location was perfect as we use Eurostar for our travel to London.

Room was not available when we arrived. We asked for late check out and the receptionist provided us this service. But anyone communicated it to the room service, so at at 12:30 housekeeper knocked at our door...

It's a good hotel with friendly staff, clean rooms and great location if you're using Eurostar to travel. The only downside was that the towels were a old, a couple of them had small holes and stains.

早饭还可以,比较丰富。 房间比较大,也比较简单。 周围环境不好,白天晚上在路边三五成群的黑人太多,其实不安全,同事也告诉我这个区域不安全,后面就换到了Stephanie 的IBIS STYLE。 预定时多支付了35欧洲,来实现早晨9点入住,但实际十点到店并没有房间,等了20分钟,差评!

Staff should Smile - It's free and has No VAT!

This is my 1st review on any website or for that matter anything. I thought giving this feedback is important cause someone like us who is travelling to a new country and exploring should know what to expect. The person who welcomed on our Arrival was the only person who smiled during our 4 days stay. The others or the lady at the reception on check out was so cold and rude, like we were staying there seeking shelter and not customers who paid to enjoy our stay. It really hurts when you pay (and expensive enough during Holiday season) and don't get treated well. This is hospitality industry and I would say people in the reception should be warm and welcoming (not cold and indifferent). Then there was this girl in the bar (we were offered free welcome drinks, we made time on the 3rd night to enjoy a quiet drink in the lounge area.) who when we approached saying we have been offered option to have drinks, treated us like we were asking some free food, which really annoyed me. It really made me angry cause we have paid upfront in full money for our stay and no one can treat us this way. I don't care if they don't smile but talking with such a rude face makes you regret why we were there. In general, we found people in Belgium were rude and cold (literally no one smiled and returned a greeting), so I think we cannot expect much from the hotel staff. I wouldn’t want to blame the Accor Hotel management either for this, looks like in Belgium it’s a custom not to be warm, everyone gave us the same look. We also found that room was not cleaned properly for 3 days though the cleaning staff had come in to clean, they did not change the sheets or cleaned the room (just arranged the bed, replaced tissues and left). We had to request for the room to be cleaned in the actual sense. We have always stayed at Ibis no matter which country and we specifically like it because of the way it’s designed, affordable and the accessibility it has to the main landmark sites in the region. But we found this one - Ibis Gare Midi is not in a decent locality (although right next to Eurostar station), there were too many African men (no offence) shouting, yelling, intimidating and we could not get sleep during the nights due to the constant noise. It was definitely scary to go for a walk once it gets dark. We still love Ibis hotels and if you have an option, I would suggest you chose Central Station Ibis hotel, which though is in the centre of Grand Place area is much nicer and safe.

Reasonable hotel right next to the station. Some areas in need of refurbishing, but it looks like they are doing that in stages. There is a luggage room which is useful if you are not travelling on straight after checkout - you need euro coins for it

We stayed at this Ibis for two nights in early August. The staff was friendly and helpful upon our arrival. The hotel is conveniently located across the street from the Brussels Midi train station and a quick 15mn walk to the Grand Place and the Manneken Pis. The room was spacious and clean but a bit dated (they were remodeling the upper floors). The breakfast was decent but a bit pricey (30€ for my son and I) . The day we left, we opted for a quick breakfast at the train station instead. Our first morning there, I had put the do not disturb sign on the door handle while we went to have breakfast. The male housekeeper, who was vacuuming the hallway, went into our room while we were gone to clean and make our beds. I was a bit irritated by that. As far as the safety of the hotel, I did feel safe in the hotel but I have to admit that I didn't like seeing and hearing all the men standing outside day and night. The hotel staff reassured us that we were safe but to look out for pickpockets (which is true in any big city). The best part of the time we stayed there was that the Fair was in town (Zuid Foor) and it was just a block away. With an 11 year old in tow, this was a treat. We took advantage of that. If I ever return to Brussels, I would be ok with staying at this hotel again but I saw that Ibis has two other hotels closer to the City Center, steps away from the Galeries Royales and the Grand Place for a comparable rate. I may explore these options as well

This was my fourth visit, I thought many things had improved since last year, especially in the breakfast room where everything was available. There were always plenty of seats available and the there was little or no queuing. My room was very large with a view over the Gare-Midi. As usual in Ibis hotels the bed was very comfortable, I have a complaint and that is the loudness of the music in the bar, reception and breakfast room. I felt sorry for the staff who had to work in those conditions, especially the receptionists. I don't know why Ibis think that that their customers want so much music (?) and at that volume.

Excellent service from staff always good food and service excellent room very tidy and clean only missed the chance to make a cup of coffee or tea first thing in the morning Some traffic noise but that could be because of location but overall very good.

Central location, very near and easy access from MIDI train station, nice and clean rooms, but very poor service especially at reception restaurant, even though there are so many staff and less guests.

Comfortable room and friendly staff. The real disappointment was the Ibis Kitchen with a small menu of mainly red meal and overpriced.. After a day's journey from the Ibis in Berlin it was poor quality for this tired and hungry traveller.

The hotel is modern, clean and the stuff is very friendly. The room was superb, very spacious with comfy beds and great bathroom. It's located by the train station as well as there are other public transport stops so we expected to disturb our sleep but the noise wasn't noticeable. The breakfast was fantastic with so many things to choose from and always refilled. We loved it.

Very easy to find just at the exit from MIDI station. Feeling safe as they use key card to access the lift. Room is big enough. Storage room available with charge. Internet is fast enough. Some space to wait our train after checkout
