Scammers, thieves, racists pretending to run a hotel!

Rude, arrogant, racist. Threatens to call a police, unless paying customers do not leave. Be very careful with this hotel!! Apparently on some evenings there is a guard with extra low IQ and knowledge of hospitality, who takes over the reception. We were unlucky enough to book this hotel after a long drive from Italy and on the same evening. When arrived, within 10 minutes he decided that our child has no right to be staying with us, and that we need to buy another room for her!!! No solution provided, either buy another room for a 4 years old, or get out and he will call a police otherwise!! Its 9PM, ok, we just paid for the room 10 minutes ago, so please refund we will go to another hotel!! Logical, no??... No, he decided to keep the money, because we have to cancel one day before the date of stay!!!! So we CAN book and pay within minutes of arrival, but we HAVE to cancel one day BEFORE the stay???? Cancellation has to be made one day before we paid for the hotel!! These people are petty criminals, they have no moral, no respect for clientele, no even basic training in hospitality. I know not all Ibis Budgets are the same, but this one particular is probably the worth in France!!! AVOID !!!

Indeed, being 4 people (2 adults and 2 children), the receptionist asked you to take another room because we only have rooms for 1 to 3 people. According to regulations and for your safety, we must not exceed the capacity of the room. The hotelier therefore has the right to refuse you in the event of non-compliance. Best regards. We wanted to spend the night here while on a long drive home from the south of France to the Netherlands. We called around 11:30 PM to inquire about availability for our family of 3. The person answering the phone said yes, no problem and confirmed the price we saw online. When we arrived, we had to reserve a room through a machine at the entrance. We entered "3 persons", but then the system offered us only a twin room. The person who had answered the phone was there, he told us he was only the security guard and not the receptionist. He said he supposed there would be a third bed in the room, since we had entered "3 persons". However, there was no way to check, because only after paying at the machine we would receive the room number and code to access the room. As it was midnight by then, we booked and paid the room anyway, found out that indeed, it had only two beds. The security guard could not care less about this situation, did not offer any sort of help or solution. Then we took our camping mat - which we luckily had in our car - and one of us slept on the floor. The next morning we went to talk about this at the reception. We were told, in an unfriendly way without any understanding for the unpleasantness of the whole situation, that the security guard had no access to the booking system so he could not tell us about availability on the phone. And that for 3 people we simply should have booked 2 rooms. Which would have cost 160 euros, not really our idea of a budget stay... Aside from this bad experience, the room was okay (for 2 persons), good beds, OK bathroom. We were not happy that it was not possible to switch off the air conditioning, and there was traffic noise in the morning, but this is inherent to booking a hotel near the highway so we did not mind about this.

Good evening, We have taken note of your comment. Indeed, at night, a security guard is present to welcome you and guide you to take a room on the automat. If you indicate 3 people on the machine, you will not only be offered the triple rooms but also the other rooms available. When you arrived, there were no more triple rooms, as the last one (which you had seen online) had been rented in the meantime. You were therefore offered other options. It is clearly stated on the device that a twin room is made up of 2 single beds and that double rooms are made up of a bed for 2 people... As for our welcome, we are not unfriendly, however, we had to react to your virulence, even your insulting remarks towards the security guard... Yours sincerely The Management

Hotel jest wysłużony - remont raczej konieczny. W hotelu bardzo ograniczone śniadanie - żadnych warzyw ani świeżych owoców . Obsługa bardzo miła i pomocna . Ręczniki ok. Pościel wysłużona bardzo!

This place was great. Setup quite efficiently, checkin/out was a breeze. A few things could be a little better, for example the shower was a little small, the pillows weren't super but all this is fine given the price. Breakfast was also great given price, quite a few choices.

I stayed in this hotel while traveling across France for one night. It was a typical ibis hotel: low-budget, clean, no frills. The attached restaurant was nice enough to make me a large salad even though I arrived as they were closing. I have always liked the ibis line of the Accor chain throughout Europe and North Africa. If you are looking for a good, clean yet low-budget hotel the ibis chain is certainly a good choice.
