Very bad experience

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback. We are pleased that you found our location convenient, situated near the city center and within easy reach of Amsterdam's key attractions. Our central location is indeed a highlight for many of our guests, offering the perfect starting point to explore the beauty of Amsterdam. However, we regret to hear that certain aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. Regarding the amenities, we provide a selection of toiletries in line with our commitment to sustainability, and our eco-friendly approach may limit single-use items like plastic cups, which are replaced during regular housekeeping services. We understand your concerns about the absence of a toothbrush, we do have toothbrushes available at the reception which you could receive. We offer tea and coffee-making facilities as well as complimentary mineral water in our premium rooms, and while we do not provide kettles in standard rooms, hot water is available at the reception. We apologize if there was any misunderstanding at the bar, and we truly value the patronage of all our guests, regardless of the services they are utilizing. We are sorry to hear that our service did not match the positive experiences you've had at other Accor hotels, and we will ensure our team is reminded of the importance of attentive and inclusive service. Finally, we are delighted that you are a fan of the Accor brand and have enjoyed stays at our other properties. Dear Karen, We would like to thank you for this review about your recent experience in our hotel. We are delighted that you enjoyed our hotel's cleanliness, the modern bar area, and the selection of evening snacks. It is rewarding to hear that you found the bed and pillows to be comfortable and our staff to be friendly, as we strive to provide a welcoming atmosphere and restful sleep with our SweetBeds by ibis and high-quality bedding. Nonetheless, we understand that the noise from the traffic was a concern for you. While our location in the vibrant city centre offers convenience to many attractions and public transport options, it can sometimes bring the hustle and bustle of city life a little closer. For future visits, we recommend requesting a room with a garden or canal view on the higher or backside of the hotel, as these are quieter and come with the added benefit of picturesque views, subject to availability. Finally, we are pleased to know that you appreciated our hotel's overall experience. Our central location in Amsterdam is ideal for guests looking to explore the city's rich history and vibrant culture, with many highlights within walking distance, including the Canal Ring, Dam Square, and Rembrandt Square. It's always encouraging for us to hear when our guests appreciate the cleanliness of our hotel and the integrity of our housekeeping staff, as we strive to maintain high standards. However, we understand your concern regarding the airflow in the rooms. Due to Dutch regulations, our windows are designed for safety and cannot be fully opened. We provide air cooling systems to maintain a comfortable temperature and offer earplugs for those particularly sensitive to urban sounds. Nonetheless, we apologize for any discomfort this may have caused during your stay. Hotel nice but poor location and breakfast are major problems

Dear Kevin, Thank you for taking the time to share your review. We are delighted that you found our hotel clean and appreciated the politeness and efficiency of our staff. These aspects are fundamental to us, and we are pleased to know that we have met your expectations in this regard. However, we understand that you felt our location was not as central as you expected and that the breakfast experience did not align with your preferences. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. While our hotel is indeed within walking distance to the Dam Square and other attractions, we recognize that each guest has unique expectations and perceptions of distance. Regarding the breakfast, please note that we are switching some items per day to keep some variety. There will be chicken sausages one day and the next day there will be bacon on the buffet. Nonetheless, we are glad that the overall cleanliness and service provided by our team left a positive impression on you.
