Convenient location adjacent to the railway station

I stayed here for a couple of nights in December 2025. The hotel is extremely well located. Come out of Amsterdam Centraal Station, turn left, and you're at the hotel within a couple of minutes. You can see the Ibis sign quite clearly. In fact, the back part of the hotel is built over railway tracks, so you get a good view of trains coming and going. I was on the fourth floor and there was just a bit of muffled train noise in the morning. The room was small, as is the case with Ibis hotels, but it was comfortable and clean. Downstairs in the foyer there is a bar and a small area where you can buy snacks and coffee. All the staff members were very friendly and polite. This is a good Ibis hotel, enhanced by its convenient location adjacent to the railway station. Within just a few minutes' walk is central Amsterdam with hundreds of restaurants and shops. This was my second stay at this hotel and I would be very happy to stay there again.

Room nice and clean huge bed comfortable staff very helpful and professional lovely bar area very relaxing nothing to dislike would highly recommend and would stay again should have kettle in all rooms

Great location, with easy access to the train station and just a short walk to the city center. Asia & Krizzle at reception made our experience x10 times better!

Noisy, smelly and crowded

Understand it is next to train station, is a budget hotel but it is chaotic, crowded, noisy and the bathroom stunk. Noisy young people who are oblivious to hotel rules about noise and disruption. My mistake - never to be repeated.

I had a great stay at Ibis Hotel near Grand Central Amsterdam The hotel is very modern and well-designed offering a comfortable and clean environment. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of fresh and delicious options. Its location is perfect just steps away from the central station, making it easy to get around and join tours. The staff were outstanding, friendly, helpful, and efficient. Highly recommended for both convenience and service!
