This was our first stay a a Sofitel hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Our room was comfortable, clean and nicely appointed. We also enjoyed a partial view of Lake Michigan. The location was ideal for walking and we felt safe doing so. There are nice restaurants within walking distance and the Hancock Building, a site-seeing must is roughly 2-3 blocks from the hotel making it an easy walk in nice weather. The restaurant and bar within the hotel served great food and drink. The French press coffee in the restaurant was delicious! The staff is very friendly and accommodating to requests and needs. Highly recommend a stay at this hotel!
