incorrectly management and bad hotel

“I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. I went there with my school, and the staff was always rude and inefficient. On the first day, I sat on the toilet to take care of natural needs, and it broke in a way that was unsafe for my health. After the cleaning lady passed through, the toilet was deliberately broken even more so that the hotel could keep my deposit money. Breakfast was decent, but lunch and dinner were disgusting. The food was terrible, and the hotel’s overall build quality was awful!!!”

The hotel is good situated if you just need to stop during a night on a long trip. It is nice with renewed rooms, staff super-nice, there is a cozy room for breakfast (I just had a coffee which was delicious!), I don’t know if they also offer dinner, when I was there it was closed (covid maybe?)

One night stop over visit

It has been the such a disappointment. For the last 10 years we’ve always stayed at an Ibis hotel when travelling from our home in Italy to our home in the uk. All the Ibis hotels we’ve stayed at have been good. This Ibis, however, was awful!! The room was small cramped and stuffy and the corridors and room smelt awful, it had an odd very unpleasant odour. And even tho I asked for a spray to eliminate the smell in our room no action was taken. We slept with the window open all night, very chilly. The food was less than mediocre. I had the lasagne which I think may have been well past it’s sell by date, however the pizza was freshly made and good. The staff were extremely friendly, and except for the room atomiser request, quite helpful. I was sad this Ibis at €88 per night, let the group down. I’m not sure we’ll stay at an Ibis again.

Good for a stopover but not a long stay

I stayed here for 4 nights on a group tour with 30 people. It would have have been OK for a one-night stop-over but I don't think it's really suitable for a longer stay. Although the staff were quite friendly and helpful they seemed at times to be completely overloaded when dealing with a group. I think they really need more staff. When most of our group came down for a drink before dinner there were only 2 people trying to do everything - serving drinks, setting tables, dealing with the check-in desk and answering the phone. They had to work very hard and generally managed to keep things more or less under control. We all ate dinner together and somewhat surprisingly the service was very good and quite quick - still with the same 2 people. The food was OK, not very imaginative, but what you would expect. The room and bathroom were both quite small with not much room to unpack our bags, although the bed was very comfortable and it was very quiet.

Clean room, convenient location

The hotel was nice. The room was small, but clean. The bed was very comfortable. I slept very well. It was a stop over for us, a place to sleep, after a Christmas party at a nearby restaurant. It is close to restaurants and shops, off the highway, and south of Strasbourg. There is a restaurant and free parking.
