ibis Paris Saint-Denis Stade Sud

The hotel and room is basic but clean.No safe or fridge in room and breakfast is average with boiled eggs being the only hot food from the adjacent cafe.However , the problems start when you set foot outside for the Stade de France or plan to travel into Paris.This was the most lawless, crime ridden out of control area I have ever stayed in. Street robberies and cars parked in the hotel car park broken into in addition to police sirens all night long. If you are visiting the Stade de France be very careful on your 5 MINUTE WALK as local youths are waiting around to rob visitors

As the last review states we also stayed here a few nights to attend the rugby. One guy was both the barman and the receptionist and he just could not cope, he was very flustered. It just needed one more person to help out at this busy time as the hotel was full. Being as it is on the outskirts of Paris there are very few places locally to go to so the customers are bound to want food an drink on the premises. Having one person to do both was idiotic. They had no beer at all when we asked so had to have a glass of wine instead. Maybe note on match days that people like to drink beer. The restaurant was not good so I will review separately as it is part of a chain. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable but wayyyyyyy too hot. The next day at breakfast loads of people were complaining of being too hot, clearly the air con system just doesn’t work as worried many times with our thermostat. Breakfast was actually really nice with a nice selection and has boosted the score from being quite poor. Please put some bread cloths out to hold bread when slicing as I don’t like to see people holding on to the Bread.

Four of us booked this hotel months ago as it was a 5 min walk from the Stade de France. We were lucky enough to have tickets for the France England Rugby. On arrival at lunchtime the hotel was understandably busy, there were queues for reception and the restaurant was full. We managed to get a table for lunch, the staff were rushed off their feet and so obviously service was poor. On returning after the match there was just one man trying to look after guests at reception and serve at the bar. He informed everyone that the bar had run out of draught beer. I cannot understand the management of this hotel knowing how busy the hotel would be, why did they not ensure the bar was well stocked and had plenty of beer for thirsty rugby supporters. Why did they not have extra staff on duty rather than have one poor chap who obviously couldn't cope with the demand of both bar and reception guests. We were told we could not book a table in the restaurant for the evening so had to wait. The same staff that had served us at lunchtime were still on duty and were doing their best as the restaurant was again full and had people queuing for tables. Not all main courses were served at the same time and drinks were served by a different waitress so trying to get a second drink or another bottle of water took a long time. Breakfast was average, the two coffee machines stopped working and a member of staff took time to fix them. The hotel must have lost so much extra profit over the weekend just by not having enough stock to sell or staff to serve. The hotel increases its room rate to eye watering prices when these big events are on but then fails to provide the service that should be standard On a positive note, the room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Also despite being beside a busy road the double glazing was effective at keeping out the noise. Would I stay here again, probably not, there are plenty of other hotels close to the stadium

We had an overnight stay in this IBIS hotel. This is a cheap alternative on a great location. Nearby the “gare” which bring you to Center of Paris. Good and secured parking lot and a easy access to the highways

Ibis group is always a safe bet for good value in my eyes. Stayed here 1 night, for 2 days business first week of September. Very friendly staff, small but tidy room, poor breakfast, but that's normal for france I guess. The location is not touristic, its just behind the stade du france, but also like 300meters to the train station with the RER B train, which means you can get anywhere easily. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel, where you can have a decent meal and a bear, nothing fancy. All in all everything you would expect, which means I would recommend it to everyone with similar intentions.
