Hostel masquerading as a Hotel

After a long drive from Geneva airport, I arrived and checked in, went to my room, got inside and nearly cried. It was awful! 😫 The room and the whole ground floor smelt strongly of toilets 🤢; so bad and strong I knew I wouldn't be able to sleep through it / ignore it. The room was dirty including the tatty bedding. I like to think I'm pretty tough and open minded but I felt I didn't even want to touch anything. So I left and found myself another hotel. DEFINITELY do not recommend

Good motorway stopover for one night

Stopped here on way to French alps It’s a basic hotel but clean and close to motorway as a stopover. Family room was fine with bunk beds for children. Free continental breakfast was an added bonus. Only met one member of staff who was very helpful. Overall good value for money but big call out is no toilet in rooms which isn’t very family safe if you have young children as you need to accompany them to the communal toilet late at night.

Good priced budget ‘hostel’ (not a hotel) for the night. Clean and comfy.

Looks like there’s not been a review for a while. TBH, it’s a budget hotel… more like a hostel. No en-suite but you get what you pay for. Clearly been a refurbishment since the last reviews as room was pleasant and clean. Not at all as described in other reviews. The room I had was a twin. Clean and comfy… no noise at all… wasn’t worried about my safety at all either as others have described and I was a kind female. Staff were fine and polite - no issues. Shared loos and showers which are more like indoor porta-cubicals. Won’t be showering in the morning, as don’t fancy that and only stopping for a night… do wear shoes to the loos 🤢🤢🤢 but noticed cleaners were in after I’d been (piss on the floor wasn’t me)… all in all… pretty reasonable budget hostel (not a hotel). I’d stay again for a night passing through. It is what it says on the tin!

We booked this hotel on our way to the Provence and did not need more than a good night rest. Therefore I decided to book something basic. So I did not expect fancy large rooms with boxspring beds... On itself the concept of the F1 hotels fits this description. However, if it is 35 c and you share a small 3 person room, than the airco needs to work! This was not the case and this made the stay the worst stay ever. Next to the failing air conditioning, also the bed sheet were not clean and the system for opening the room doors did not work. The only positive thing was the personel, who were desperately trying to resolve all the things which were not clean or did not work.... Never again..

A good F1 hotel

I read some reviews before arriving, and was a little concerned! However, it is a good clean F1 hotel. The reception was welcoming, the room was clean, and location good for a pizza restaurant opposite. Just a note that since December 17, there are no towels in the rooms - they are sold at reception for 3 euros.
