Friendly staff, lovely food in the restaurant, dogs made to feel welcome, will stay again next year. Easy parking was made to feel most welcome which was appreciated as I was on my own. Met other Cruft visitors here.

Very handy for football at Birmingham City. As I had occasion to tell the manager at the time, the lady on the reception was excellent. Very helpful, very efficient and handled all our requests very intelligently and with a smile.

I've stayed in this hotel a few times and have not been disappointed. It is clean, the stafff are nice and helpful and the location is 5 minutes from my meeting venue. Perfect The brreakast is on an all you can eat buffet basis and is tasty and varied.

Lovely hotel, convenient location, helpful staff - just too HOT in the room!

The only thing that spoiled my visit here was the heat. The room was really hot when I went in and, despite running the air con, the temperature didn't drop below 25C (according to the air con!) I was so hot, I slept really badly. I considered switching the air con off and opening the window overnight (I had the window open earlier in the evening instead of the air con) but it was too noisy to do that. So I had about four hours intermittent sleep, lying on top of the duvet as it was way too hot to get into bed, and ended up having a shower at around 1 a.m. to try to cool down. I would stay there again because it was convenient for work the next day, the room was otherwise up to the usual Ibis standard (lovely shower, comfy bed etc.) but just hope the weather is cooler.

Our Ibis hotels have an ‘air cooling’ system in place which does differ from air conditioning. This system is partly dependant on the external temperature. I can only apologise if you found it to be insufficiently effective on this occasion. We do offer portable fans upon request at the reception desk. For your comfort in the future, please be assured that our reception desk is attended 24 hours a day. Should you need assistance at any time, we will do our best to help. My husband and I are in England/Midlands to visit family and friends our first stop was Birmingham so I booked with a trusted brand, AccorHotels/Ibis. This particular Ibis was close to the areas that I was visiting. When we arrived, Silvia was extremely helpful and friendly. We were given a room on the first floor at the back of the hotel which gave us a lovely view and a quiet room.

Arrived, staff very helpful. Room allocated did not have aircon working and window would not open, room too warm. Got a new room after that everything went well. Room clean and comfortable. Wifi good.

Stay at hotel most weeks for 2 nights. Staff all very friendly and professional which stems from the management. Rooms fairly good quality. Some occasional hairs in the bathroom on arrival. Never really any issues.

My arrival was greeted well and I was quickly supplied with my key. The room as ever was clean and well prepared. I arrived at three to get some work done and found the Wifi perfectly sufficient. Everything in the room functioned well. The Hotel is an easy walk from the Birmingham City ground which is why it was chosen. On return from the match I had some beer at £4 a pint. The breakfast was good apart from the bacon being slightly cold. No noise during the night so good sleep. The staff were all very good. It was slightly more expensive than I normally pay.

Good overall, staff were very friendly and really helpful when there was a problem with the room. Location great, parking included and fantastic for getting a cab/Uber to town for a night out. Will stay again if going out in Birmingham.

I’m a regular at this hotel (about twice a month for the last year), and I keep coming back because of the location, value, comfortable rooms and helpful staff.A few grumbles though...Room heating and cooling remains a complete mystery! And room maintenance niggles are very annoying (broken sink plugs, light bulbs, chargers, loo roll holders, bathroom extractor fans, plus dripping loos and taps, for example). Keycards sometimes work, but often don’t.And, whilst the choice and quality of restaurant food is very good, the slow speed of kitchen service regularly leaves much to be desired. 40 minutes from ordering to service is hard to understand when I’m the only person in the restaurant? And I’ve simply ordered a beefburger or a pizza?Granted that Victoria always looks after me very well, for which I’m very grateful. But my most recent early evening (before 6.30pm) order of beefburger and chips took well over 40 minutes to arrive, and that only after I had chased it. With other guests arriving and ordering the same meal after me, that they received and had already eaten before I received mine?Then my meal was cold when it did arrive, and I had to wait for another 27 minutes for a new one to be cooked. Victoria kindly brought me a free orange and lemonade drink while I waited.But, tired and hungry after a long day and a long drive and hoping to retire by 8pm (as usual) for a 4.30am wakeup call, a 67 minute wait for a meal is just the latest in the long waiting times that I’ve experienced. Hope this is taken as a constructive comment and that appropriate improvements can be made?

Could not get gluten and dairy free breakfast. One day get eggs (from shop-as they waited for delivery)) and gluten free bread, another day could eat just bread as they had eggs from mixture (include milk)

service and breakfast good, gate to car park closed on arrival for the safety of the cars first time experienced this over four years. have experienced good evening food although a limited menu. Area of hotel on a very busy junction. However. you are not affected by the noise within the room as I have used this hotel ten times have stayed in various rooms on all sides of the buiding.

I stay here regularly on business. Everyone is very kind and helpful. Plentiful free car parking. Lift, and spacious restaurant. Some rooms can be noisy and air cooling systems are a bit hit and miss, but generally speaking it’s a clean and comfortable hotel.

We had a comfortable and quiet stay at this hotel. The room was nice and clean. The nights were quiet and staff were helpful and courteous. The location is great (although not picturesque), an uber into the centre was £ 5-8 depending on the time of day. There's a Mcdonalds right next door which is handy for a cheap breakfast.

Stayed and took advantage of the half board offer. Never again, the 2nd time we’ve taken advantage of on-Line offers and the 2nd time we’ve e perienced problems at checkout as the billing systems cannot produce a corr3ct bill. In this instance we were double charged for our dinner. Took 30 minutes of my time to resolve. Expect better!
