We honestly had no issues with our stay. The reception staff could have been a lot friendlier he mumbled more than he spoke, luckily we already knew about the tourist tax, so at least we understood what we were paying for. Still, it would have been nice if it had been explained a bit better. Aside from that, everything was absolutely fine. The room was clean, there was water in the fridge, and there were USB ports available to charge our phones. We grabbed a drink from the bar to take up to the room and had no problems at all. The hotel does do food but we did not eat in so could not comment. The hotel is just a stone’s throw from the Eiffel Tower and surrounded by lovely cafés, so there’s plenty of choice for food. The Hop-On Hop-Off bus stop is also just around the corner, which was really convenient. Overall, the location is excellent and we had a smooth, comfortable stay.

エッフェル塔まで歩いてすぐという好立地で、立地としては申し分なし。チェックイン時のスタッフもすごくフレンドリーな対応をしてくれました。シャワールームの作りが悪いせいで洗面所の床がビチャビチャになりやすい。熱いお湯が欲しくてもネスプレッソマシンで何回もいれないとならないので大変でした。電気ケトルくらいはあってもいいかなと思いました。

First of all, we had a booking from 30th Dec to 3ra Jan but due to passport issue we did not arrive until 31st Dec, which I informed the hotel over email/ booking.com messages and also phoned on the morning of 30th Dec to say me and my partner will be arriving and checking in tomorrow (meaning the 31st) and also mentioned we'll be at the hotel quite late due to late flight, and so the man from reception on the phone says "yes that's ok". The day later (31st Dec) we arrive and get told by the lady at reception saying our booking was cancelled by booking.com and can't do anything about it because the hotel was full, leaving us stranded. Thankfully, my partner found a hotel quick so we didn't have to sleep on the streets of Paris. The day later (1st Jan), went back to hotel to get proof that it was booking.com that cancelled our booking as I thought it was very strange that my booking was still on the app and didn't get a message/email from booking.com. And so I ask the lady at reception and she went to the manager and found out for me that it was not cancelled but put down as a no show, which means the man on reception I phoned on the morning of 30th did not put that down on the booking, and the lady at reception on the 31st straight up lied to my face. Then get told that I can not get a refund due to the fact I did not pay the extra money for the option to modify or cancel my booking, even though it was completely out of my control that the workers at reception can not do a simple job. So message to the hotel get these 2 individuals more trained up on reception, or even get the man who was on reception 30th December 10.42am sacked as I am now 4 nights worth of money down, which is a lot of money and so that this does not happen to anyone else!!!

The room décor is very tired and in need of updating. We even had holes in the walls, which was quite disappointing. The corridors are decorated in a very unusual way, with a strange Star Trek-style theme that felt dated rather than quirky. The lifts are also very old-fashioned and extremely slow, which became frustrating. Breakfast wasn’t great. A lot of items ran out and we had to wait a long time for food to be replenished, which took away from the experience. Staff service could be improved. When I asked for help finding a pharmacy, I was told to use Google Maps rather than being offered any assistance. There was no complimentary water provided in the room, which was disappointing. The main positive is the location, which is excellent and very convenient.

We would stay here again, and will do so in September.

Third time at this hotel and the service and reception was excellent. The location of this hotel is the big draw for us. It is literally a 10 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and even a shorter walk to the Metro. The rooms are small, but well designed, and not to belabour a point, one does not go to Paris to stay in a hotel room. There was a small fridge in the room, along with a small safe. There were plug ins for usb cables, so recharging phones and computers was not a problem When we booked, breakfast was not included. You could purchase breakfast each morning for 20 Euros per person. We have had breakfast here before on our previous stays, and it is very good. We decided to skip breakfast and explore Paris and have a Parisian breakfast of coffee and croissants. The staff was helpful and very professional. Well done all !
