- Our family stayed at the hotel for two nights. The room was a bit on the small side, but it had everything we needed and was perfectly clean. The location couldn’t have been better—super convenient for getting around and close to everything we wanted to see. The staff was friendly and welcoming, always ready with a smile. Breakfast was definitely worth it, with plenty of options like fresh fruit, hot dishes, and more to fuel us for the day ahead. And the cocktails at the bar? Amazing. As margarita fans, we couldn’t have been happier. - As a former hospitality manager, I want to give a shout-out to Lily and Josh, whom we met at the reception. They are an exceptional team, blending expertise with a warm, approachable vibe. While enjoying their cocktails, I had the chance to watch them in action and saw how easily they shift from lightheartedness to focus when needed. Their energy and laughter are contagious, making everyone feel welcome just by being around them. They’re food advisors, concierges, bartenders, even cooks—and they handle it all with a smile, effortlessly balancing efficiency and friendliness. I’ve seen them work in perfect sync, supporting each other during busy times and engaging with guests in a genuinely authentic way. It’s rare to encounter this level of dedication in a budget-friendly hotel, and as someone who’s been in their shoes, I know how tiring their job can be. - As first-timer guests with Ibis, we were thoroughly impressed, and rest assured, we’ll definitely be back!

Had to book this at short notice as got caught for one night with no accommodation. Not a good idea in Sydney as you pay a fortune for dumps like this. Tiny, poorly maintained room with paper-thin walls. Small bathroom with rubbish shower. It’s in a noisy location so don’t expect any peace. The only positive was the reasonably priced breakfast was pretty good! That aside, avoid this hotel. For value for money it’s the worst I’ve EVER had.

The location was so convenient for public transport and varied shopping. Having a microwave was an extra bonus that allowed the flexibility to self cater, though there are multiple choices of cuisine within easy walking distance. Friendly reception staff and cleaners also enhanced our stay. Great that sustainable aspects like “on request” ammenities are in place to reduce waste. If you are a poor sleeper you may notice traffic and environmental noise but that’s city life! We were impressed by the lack of noise detected from neighbouring rooms. Sydney Super Shuttles runs a service from the airport and return with direct delivery that is also highly recommended.

the location of this hotel is amazing. just in front of this hotel is a shopping mal and this hotel is located in the city centre. so easy to go anywhere. the receptionist is very friendly. i came here too early so i cannot checked-in yet, and she allowed me to leave my suitcase here until my check-in time. when i went there, one elevator is under maintenance, but its not a big problem.
