An okay hotel

Small hotel currently covered in scaffolding, the room was clean but the bed sheets were plastic and came off, the bed is two singles with a mattress topper and wasn’t the most comfy. The reception was friendly although on numerous occasions they weren’t to be seen with guests asking me how to check in! Central for exploring.

Vive Paris!

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights and we were impressed with the staff, the room was clean, the breakfast was perfect and it was close to everything you need. We did not hear any noise in room 403 from either the traffic or other guests. In fact, I honestly thought we were the only ones there, but we ran into a lot of people for breakfast. There is a great pastry shop and several amazing restaurants. If you are in France for your room only, look elsewhere, the room was perfect in our opinion because we were too busy enjoying everything Paris had to offer.

Made a booking for the Olympic Games period in 2024 in good faith. Received an email from the hotel a couple of days later saying that there was an issue with the computer systemand they would have to cancel the booking but that I could try again in September. By problem with system they mean someone forgot to block out the booking pweriod so that the rates could be inflated later due to greed. Plenty of other hotels in Paris so I won't be staying with this hotel. I am not even sure whether it is legal for a hotel in France to cancel on a customer in this way.

Hotel is comfortable and in a good location with nice restaurants and bars nearby. Breakfast was nice with choices. Would have given more stars but sadly English money went missing from our room as no safety deposit box. Beware!

We arrived at the hotel 3 hours before check in just to drop out bags off but the member of staff there have us a bottle.of cold water and let us check in early as the room was ready! A wonderful surprise that meant we could cool down and have a shower. The hotel is small with only a few rooms per floor but the rooms are all clean and you can see that the staff care. The room had air con and has the standard Ibis furniture and style. Excellent location about a 5 minute walk from the metro and with a bus opposite that takes you to the middle of Paris. Breakfast was basic, but a good selection of breads and meats and fruit. Coffee was a bit disappointing but they had other drinks also available. I have stayed in a few acccor hotels I have never felt let down. This was another excellent experience. You don't become one of the biggest chains in the world by being bad. Excellent value for money as we went for the last day of the Tour De France.
