Spent a week here of city travel. The place was overall very clean, and breakfast area was neat with a nice selection. Service were friendly and helpful. Location was excellent and approx 10 min walk to the Bastille metro which made getting around the city really convenient. There is a small store right next door, and the nearest Monoprix supermarket is only a 5 min walk away. Many good restaurants nearby, though would highly recommend: Le Trousseau D'Or (right next door on left) and Madito (Lebanese set menu, down the road facing the hotel). Room was lovely, especially the bed which was very comfy sleeping in. Would definitely stay again on a future trip.

The location was great, many business around. The room was clean, even though it was really tight. We were 4 people and it was a struggle to open our 4 pieces of luggage. The breakfast was fresh and delicious!! The beds were comfortable, a double in the mezzanine, a pulled out sofa downstairs and another single downstairs.

This hotel is just up the road from a family member's place and so it is conveniently located. It's well serviced by public transport, supermarkets, and eateries, and is on the same road as rue de Cotte (it changes names after rue Faubourg Saint Antoine) which is lively in the evenings. At the bottom of de Cotte is the Marché d'Aligre which is worth a wander through to pick up some fresh produce. The hotel itself is basic, and the rooms are generally fairly small, but I was allocated an accessible room which meant that I had the largest room on the floor. This meant a lot of extra floor space which would come in handy if there were two of you with suitcases, and a large shower room. The drawback is that there is no curtain around the shower, and although the water doesn't hit anything to make it wet, if you need to go to the loo or basin after a shower has been has you will get wet feet and then trample that back into the room. (Best to put down a towel outside the door to assist with this. The room I had faced the street and had an opening window. I enjoyed having the window open during the day and then the quiet of the room after it was shut for sleeping. The only negative of this hotel is the way the room doors bang shut. So if a neighbouring room comes in late you are likely to be woken with the bang of the door. The walls aren't that sound proof either. The staff were pleasant but neglected to give any information about the hotel at all. For example, letting guests know that there is tea and coffee available at all times in the breakfast bar. Also, some explanation of how the room card operates the lift would have been appreciated. It's not like any other lift access I've seen before and had someone not come along I'd have been stuck trying to figure it out for some time. Would definitely stay here again. If you stay here, be mindful it's no frills, but it's safe and clean.

A great hotel on a quiet street which is just a few minutes walk from the Bastille but slightly away from the tourist trail. The hotel offers the usual Ibis quality for an affordable price with a good breakfast served daily.

Regular IBIS, always good for a city break when you just need a bed for sleeping. Loved this area of Bastille which I hadn't fully explored on previous trips. Nice local vibe, good markets and still a short metro ride from all attractions. Some great restaurant options nearby and a great garden in the hotel (rare in Paris) which was nice to just chill in. Can't fault the staff in Ibis...always very helpful.
