Great hotel with beautiful views. The views from the pool were incredible. Dhom at the pool bar downstairs was super nice, funny, and helpful!

Wonderful stay at Fairmont Rio Our room was absolutely perfect, and the view from Room 1070 was truly fantastic — waking up to that scenery made our stay unforgettable. Everything was comfortable, well-designed, and impeccably maintained. A very special thank you to Dandsom for the outstanding service during breakfast. His attention to detail, warmth, and professionalism made every morning a pleasure. Truly the best service we experienced. We would definitely love to return and highly recommend the Fairmont Rio. ❤️

Excellent, comfortable and welcoming hotel on the beach

Everything about this hotel was wonderful. The location was excellent at the juncture of Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. The room was very comfortable. The facilities were excellent. The breakfast buffet was tremendous. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Never in my life have I been around the pool of a hotel where somebody came around and asked if I wanted my glasses cleaned! In fact, I needed them cleaned. I want to particularly call out the service of Leonel the concierge. He was extremely helpful. He made some excellent recommendations about what to see and how to organize our days to make the visit most efficient. One of the friendliest and most knowledgeable concierge I have ever worked with.
