Excellent food and service. The view from the terrace was breathtaking. The recipes were simple but the ingredients great. The service is amazing. The band (which we paid an extra fee for) played stunning jazz music. All the waiters were kind and gentle, especially Gabriel.

Stayed at the fairmont for 2 days with a big group of friends and had an amazing stay. The restaurant was great and everybody was incredibly kind. The view from the pool is also amazing and wish I could say. Also Hugo was amazing help at the pool and so friendly. Was amazing to have out there and make it a friendly and beautiful spot

This’s the second time visiting Fairmont and now I can definitely say that I won’t even consider other option next time. On top of having one of the best views for Copacabana beach, the quality of the food, Drinks and Specially the service make the whole experience incredible, I would like to mention the amazing job from some of their amazing staff… Daniela from the Breakfast service on Level 6, her manager Geraldo, Marcio e Altamir. They Always makes you feel like you’re at home and you’re part of their Family. Working in Hospitality outside of Brazil makes me appreciate even more the level of Experience from some individuals. Thank you so much for your service Fairmont, see you next time.

Amazing room with a balcony and million dollar view!

All the staff were wonderful! We loved spending afternoons at the pool with the very talented singer, Ed Gouveia, entertaining us. The drinks and pool snacks were great too! There was also a beach area reserved for guests and they would keep our personal items if we went for a walk along the beach or for a swim. Be warned, Rio does not sleep! There are people running, cycling, surfing, swimming and all other activities you could possibly think of 24/7! I have literally never seen a more vibrant or active place!

Nice Hotel Overall, Needs improvement in Operations

The hotel is very nice and in a great location. There is big room for improvement concerning the food and beverage and relax area, where it seems the space is too small compared to the number of rooms the hotel has. so has a hotel guest you will end up fighting for a sunbed or restaurant table or bar table. The reception staff needs to be better trained, we booked 10 days total in the hotel and despite my room was ready, they did not let me check in because i refused to pay “half day extra” under their request. So after 15 hours flight i was left tired and without a room even though we booked a stay for some thousands dollars. The guest manager tried her best to apologize and offered a free shuttle for us . The best experience overall was with the concierges employees, Claudio and Leonel, who were really prepared and went beyond every expectation to make my trip organized. A big thank you to them and the professionalism and preparation. Ana from housekeeping was amazing!!! She did a great Job making sure I had everything i need in my room! Big thank you to Ana!!!
