In an area that can seem a bit rough, this mid-range hotel is located which is really good. Good rooms (although a little smoke smell lingers in non-smoking rooms), decently spacious. Really good breakfast too. Maybe a little bit too expensive.

booked by a 3rd party with a very friendly customer service. 1 st experience at reception, aweful. grab some popcorn if you please: - sir i dont have your booking. what was your name again? well i already called that i was later than planned and i already mailed my booking. 1day ago and all was well thay said... - sir you dont have breakfast with your stay. well, it says on my reservation, as you can read by now too, that i do have a breakfast for 2 days. - well that is a cheap breakfast for € 7,-. i did not have anything to say back on that welcoming remark. than my turn to ask for questions: herr, could i have my prove of payment? - no it is too busy. i dont have time for that . come back tomorrow at 7:00h note: i arrived at 02.00am herr, do i have a standard room or the superior room? - you have superior room sir. which seemed 2 days later not to be the case..ohoh...cliffhanger approaching. alert-alert-alert once in the room i noticed it was awefully cold, even with windows closed and AC going bananas on decibel. all streetsounds were directly in the room as if there was an open window. checked and it not open. next morning after a lovely breakfast where staff was very friendly, i went back to reception and complained about cold, they would deliver a heating and a collegue would bring it. 30 min later...nobody to be seen at horizon. went i went out i mentioned it at the reception, and they would take care of it. arriving back in the evening, the magic tellsell heater was deliverd. what a difference. when i asked for my prove of payment, i got a suprise. i still needed to pay tax which was not mentioned when i arrived. huray for that. someone is not doing their job properly i guess... decided to extend my stay 1 more day. this time i booked directly and with my accor account. got a room upgrade from 5th to 6 th floor. with all miscommunication, calls and even me mailing, they kept holding my room and all was properly arranged this time. other hotels in berlin: this is how things should work always. staff that walks teh extra mile to make things work.... room on the 6th was bigger and was on a corner. that meant that the wind on that night made a drum concert on the side windows. i even forgot about the streetnoise and traffic that was also free availabe with the upgrade. next morning i could stay 1h longer with checkout. poor cleaning staff hate this room. after shower the bathroom looked like a swimmingpool. bring in your swimmingtrousers too if you go for an upgrade to room 6-44 resume: - dont arrive in middle of night because it is way to busy to be customer friendly - dont go for room with streetview. too noisy. - dont go for the corner room on 6th in case of bad wetter. free wind concert on windows. - beside welcoming staff, all other staff was welcoming, friendly and did their best to help you and give you a sense of being welcome. -free parking on the streets - metro 200m from hotel - breakfast was good

We've actually been here twice, November 2023 and March-April 2024. Our daughter lives in Berlin so we're now regular visitors. The first time we stayed here, my partner was having to work as he had limited annual leave left, so we booked the high speed wifi which seemed to work fine. We must have had an upgrade since the room was HUGE, a corner room with an odd triange space at the back and a sofa bed (used just as a sofa since there were just two of us). We appreciated the extra space, the desk and the table and comfy chairs. A coffee machine was well used as was the fridge. The second visit was in a smaller room, but still spacious enough. By this time, we had got to know the neighbourhood a bit, good supermarkets to buy essential breakfast tea and local craft beers, etc. Both visits, the rooms were comfortable and clean. Beds very comfortable and the air conditioning/heating was just right. Sufficient storage space for a five day visit. Bar area was big but few patrons, so no atmosphere at all. We just had our free drinks courtesy of the Accor membership. Plenty of decent bars in the neighbourhood. Handy location, U-Bahnhof Boddinstrasse just round the corner. Lots of pleasant walks around Neukölln and local parks.

Hotel is located in a neighborhood next to the old Tempelhof airport (no longer in use). Many restaurants nearby. Large Rewe supermarket a few minutes' walk away. Parking garage under the hotel. The hotel has a courtyard. The interior of the hotel dates from the late 1990s, but is well maintained. And clean. The staff at check-in is great! Friendly and thoughtful.

Вежливый и приятный персонал, чистый номер, хорошая кухня. Единственное неудобство- в номере было жарко и душно понизить температуру не смог.
