Was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It is not too far from the Gare du Nord station, so we were able to walk to the hotel. The breakfast was great - fresh fruit/scrambled eggs and sausage/bread/a range of cheeses/little croissants and I would recommend the madeleine cakes - they were delicious. There was also the usual tea/coffee and fresh orange juice. Our room was large and so was the bathroom. Both were spotless. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed one night only as it is closer to the station. One of the worst decisions I have taken so far. Pathetic service. Zero professionalism when it comes to all the front desk staff. Showing too much attitude for visitors. I requested for extra towels because the towels that were already in the room were smelly and front desk rejected saying that their housekeeping is until 1pm only. Bathroom did not have basic amenities even except for two lousy paper cups.

We made reservation for this hotel today in the afternoon but by mistake instead of tomorrow I booked Today then We called Hotel but they did not helped us,even my sister was not there and they have chance to change date But they refused .I am also working in the hospitaly industry as General Manager But Their attiuade was not good,No interest ,no guest Satisfaction

5 stars fro the reception staffs but 2 stars for housekeeping.

This is a very nice place especially if you're travelling to Paris on a budget. The staffs at the reception are exceptional. Our experience started with Godsha & Julieta who handled our booking confirmation. Godsha and Zola welcomed us and made us feel so comfortable. It's a small hotel but these staffs have a big heart. They go extra mile to ensure your comfort. Then we met Mohammud Ali ( The Bangladeshi) who made a highlight on our trip. He was so friendly and warm. He even offered to book our taxi to airport and he did it. we were stress free - he was very nice and cater for each of your concern. Then we met the Comorian Mr Ali. We got to meet him on our last evening there but as nice as the others. An amazing team. HOWEVER, not the housekeeping team. They were so unfriendly and lacked basic ethics. They just knock once and open the door the next second not giving you time to respond or open the door. There was an instance where they knocked once open the main door and opened the toilet door which is very close to the front door and the bathroom was occupied even though there is no lock in the door. That was so unprofessional. This was done by the housekeeping lady.

I have stayed in different Ibis across Europe and this property is a bit of a love-hate relationship. Pros: - Perfect location; 4 train and metro stations (biggest one being Gare du Nord) in 5-minute walking proximity, so many great local cafe around, and on the quieter side of the neighborhood - Quick and efficient service, though leaning towards the very casual side - Room upgrade due to my ALL membership, we really liked and enjoyed the room Cons: - Took a deposit payment prior to my arrival and instead of using that for the room payment, I was asked to settle the total amount when I arrived - Needed to pay to store my luggage - Needed to go to the lobby to boil water in the kettle All in all, will we be back? Maybe yes due to the location but tempted to try similar establishments around the area..
