Fatima is the star of the hotel

I would like to express my appreciation for Fatima, who works in the restaurant at the Ibis Hotel in Paris. She is exceptionally welcoming, attentive, and professional. From the moment I arrived, she greeted me with a warm smile and made sure I felt comfortable. Fatima provides excellent customer service — she is quick, efficient, and always ready to help. She pays attention to detail and ensures that guests have everything they need. Her friendly attitude and dedication truly make the dining experience enjoyable. Thank you, Fatima, for your outstanding service. You are a great asset to the hotel!

Not the best hotel for the price. Stay away!

Young people at lobby, indifferent, not professional at all. No coffee in (small) room, instant in lobby, big deal. Water in shower ran hot and cold. Stay away! Not worth the price!

Great base for a visit to Paris

Two retired couples very much enjoyed a three night stay here last week. It is an excellent base, a short walk from the Eurostar terminal in Gare du Nord and close to a number of metro stations and lines. There are a number of restaurants nearby, notably those near Gare de L'Est and our favourite, Baraquai, near the Bassin de Villette at the end of Rue La Fayette. The hotel seemed to us to be bright and modern and the rooms were at the better end of the Ibis branded hotels. Unlike the experiences of some other reviewers, our rooms were serviced daily and fresh towels provided to replace those we left on the floor of the walk in shower. All in all the hotel was very clean, tidy and cared for. The reception and other staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Lockers are available at a small cost in which to deposit luggage to give customers freedom to continue roaming the city after check-out. (We got three cases in one locker for three euros!) Staff provide access to these after check out. We would have liked coffee making facilities in the room but this, in our experience , is not common in hotels in France. In fairness tea and coffee were available free in reception 24/7. In summary, we would all stay here again on any future visit to Paris.

The hotel is very conveniently located for Gare du Nord and Gare de l’Est. It has been refurbished relatively recently and the common areas are quite modern, but the rooms are not particularly amazing. The rooms are small, and the HVAC didn’t seem to do anything at all. The bathroom had a phenomenally badly located toilet and there was extensive mould on the ceiling. The bed had a plastic sheet on it, which made it hot and uncomfortable. Staff were efficient, but not particularly friendly. For £160pn this hotel isn’t great value.

This is a hotel with a very simple standard. Okej, but not more. However, by Parisian standards you get value for money. Reasonably clean, but old and in need of an update. Average breakfast buffet.
