Great Location and good price for Paris

Good hotel for location next to Gare du l'est and just down the road from Gare Du Nord which for a couple of overnight stays for a day trip and to travel on was great, the price for a central Paris hotel was also very competitive. Rooms are great good size bed everything you need, except drinks/kettle etc in room which we always like. For a central hotel with lots of people coming and going it was quiet at night with no disturb sleep, breakfast was good better than expected, with self cooked hot options on offer a great selection of cheese/cold meat and pastries. We would use again for a stop over.

Calm around perfect logistics spot to arrive and discover Paris - but the house keeping.

SUPER PLUS: Breakfast Lady + Selection. She presented everything with passion and love, making the buffet very inviting. For an Ibis hotel, it was very lovely. SUPER MEGA XXL MINUS: Housekeeping: day of arrival: a dirty towel left by the previous guests still in the room. No towels are provided for all guests. The bed frame is not fixed. Broke twice during a three-night stay. The second day, we were friendly since it was New Year’s Day, and we gave her some chocolate; everything was perfect. Third day: housekeeping did not show up until 17:00 hrs. The front desk explained that this is „normal“. It could be better: primarily, remove bathtubs and replace them with an oversized shower. With good connections to the Metro and buses, every point in Paris is within 2 minutes. Use exit 6 from Metro. Gare de l‘Est is perfect. But Gare du Nord is too far to walk and back to the hotel uphill. The best is Bus 38/91 for two stops - 2,05 EUR.

Late night staff was so helpful and accommodating. I had no reservations and was not a “member” and the front staffer found a room and enrolled me on the spot. I had been to 3 hotels prior. Room was spacious for paris, directly across from gare, was quiet(hard to do in this area, clean and even left me two little cookies in my room. There are exterior window blinds that close out the noise and lights making for a peaceful place to rest.

Great affordable hotel in a prime location with friendly staff. They went the extra mile to celebrate both mine and my friend’s birthday by decorating our room when we were out and about. Super sweet of them! Also quick to provide extra towels and etc upon request. I would definitely recommend to my fellow English travellers.

Although we are aware Ibis is Accor's entry level hotel, the staff at this Ibis hotel doesn't make us feel unappreciated. They are very courteous and always greet us when meeting us. Well done.
