This hotel is in a great fairly central location with everything you require in walking distance. The Irish pub is ok for a drink but the meals weren’t great. I didn’t try sense’s restaurant so can’t comment on that. Overall I don’t think this hotel is up to the “Novotel” standard. I’ve stayed in plenty of Mecure hotels which have been better appointed and finished than this. It’s definitely time for renovation as the rooms and most of the common areas in the hotel are looking very worn and dated. In summary good location but accommodation just ok.

4.5 star? Nah.

I’ll be brief. - Rooms are beyond outdated. Seriously old and rundown. - Shower uses a water saving head that acts as a Gerni. Prepare for high pressure water piercing your skin at 1000psi. - Out of date beer and chips in mini bar. - Hotel is advertised at 4.5 star, I’ve stayed in 3 star motels in Kalgoorlie that are in better condition. - Next time I’m in Perth I’ll take my Diamond Accor membership and will stay under a bridge.

Check in was a quick process. Up to our room and this is where it started to go down hill. First up the toilet still had toilet paper in it. I let that go but not what we found next. In the fridge was a container of mouldy food. I didn’t report it straight away as we had a very long, tiring day but I did report it to reception after our dinner. She was horrified and said she would be straight up to collect, which she did. Went into a brown paper bag and that was the last we heard of it. This is not good enough Novotel Perth Langley. Somebody is clearly not doing their job. Other things to mention. No face washers in room( have to ask for these). No ceiling lighting in room only bedside and floor lamp. Makes for a very dark room. Shower over bath is outdated as is single flush toilet cistern. Minibar non existent. Only good thing was bed comfortable. I would have liked to have been offered at least the cost to cover the car parking as compensation for the mouldy food but alas Novotel kept quiet.

They have very friendly staff at both the Novotel Langley Perth, and the adjoining Fenian's Bar which has amazing food! A really positive experience. Would recommend this Hotel which is local to the city centre of Perth, Western Australia.

Very underwhelming, not worth it.

My traveling companion and I stayed here for a period of 5 days in mid March 2024. The hotel room I stayed in wasn’t at all good. The paint was peeling, the skirting board on the ceiling had a massive gap between the wall and it, the bathroom was dirty with the corners of the bathroom disgusting full of just dirt and the grout had a crack in in the shower and it appeared that it was covered over clearly not well. The bottom of the bath tub has a crack and hole in it so not good enough to have a bath in. The taps were very loose despite me telling reception about this and that they would get someone out immediately to fix, it doesn’t appear that even happened, I and my traveling companion felt that the attitude about that was very dismissive and disappointing. The hot water tap fell off every time my traveling companion and I got into the shower individually so around 8 or 9 times. The receptionist we spoke to was very defensive about our concerns and those concerns were very valid. You could take the hot water tap off which I would argue is a serious safety issue as pointed out to me by my travelling companion. I chose this hotel as it said it was a ‘4.5 star’ hotel this was anything but. I’ve stayed in a 3 star hotel in the past and 5 star hotel and if I’m honest this felt like a 3 star hotel at best, I mean I did get the standard room in the hotel however I’d still expect 4.5 stars right across the hotel clearly this didn’t happen. Novotel Perth Langley pride themselves on being a ‘Luxury 4.5 star hotel’ I’d seriously suggest that it isn’t. Another hotel chain I’ve stayed in in the past said they were a ‘Luxury Hotel’ and they were most certainly. One night we ordered room service, the Barramundi and chips were good but the Langley Club Sandwich wasn’t it was dry and was almost inedible and at $28 for it, there wasn’t from what I could see any justification for that price. The only redeeming features was that the bed was comfortable and the sky deck at the top of the hotel was good but these weren’t enough for me to rate this hotel above 1 star if I could give 0 stars I would do so without hesitation. Won’t stay here when I come back to Perth, this was the first time I’ve stayed in this hotel and this was the last time I would do so. Very disappointing and very underwhelming just not worth it.
