I have been in much better hotels then this. The main thing I want with a motel is a foam bed and beds just feel firm. I tried to complain but they would do nothing about it.

The property has undergone a comprehensive renovation recently, and all mattresses have been specially manufactured for the hotel with high-quality specifications, in collaboration with professional hospitality suppliers. Based on the feedback from the vast majority of our guests, we have consistently received positive comments regarding bed comfort and overall sleep quality. In fact, several guests have even inquired about the mattress brand with the intention of purchasing it themselves, which clearly reflects the general level of satisfaction. however, the statements made in this review represent a personal opinion rather than an objective assessment and are not consistent with the overall guest feedback or the standards we maintain. We remain fully committed to providing a comfortable and high-quality stay for all our guests. Best regards Novotel team

We had a wonderful holiday at the Naftel Sharm El Sheikh Hotel, one of the most beautiful hotels in Sharm El Sheikh, with its luxurious hospitality, sandy beach, and delicious food and drinks. I thank Mr. Moussa, Mr. Roma, and all the hotel staff for their kindness and excellent service.

Not as good as expected

On arrival all seemed good, a few days in the weather turned very windy & cold, wind swept through the patio doors with a howling noise & the air conditioning on heat was blowing cold air, the make shift restaurant on palm side was overcrowded and the food was cold. There is works going on all day with workmen building which we weren’t told about. Also to eat at the beachside they require you pay an extra $2 charge per meal even though it’s the same hotel ! This wasn’t mentioned upon booking. I think next year we will go back to the mamma promenade next door even though it’s dated I think it’s better all round

Good for the price bad barmens

Everything was good , we were in second line of hotel so there is 5 min walk to get to next Novotel next to sea side.The only thing i didnt like and writing this coment is barmens at main seaside bar. They get too cocky and if not payed extra money serving is very poor and they treat customers really bad...

Not a 5 star hotel

My first impression wasn’t great. At reception when trying to check in I was told I had to pay $100 or leave my passport behind due to too little luggage. I only had a cabin bag due to the restrictions on my flight ticket. I had to argue this case and after a phone all to the manager the man in reception would allow me to check in and to upgrade me to a family room. That was not what I had booked and I told him, but no it now had to be the family room. The overall room was very basic and not 5 star at all. The only toiletries was a shower cap and some half empty dirty shampoo and soap bottles. I have had more toiletries in a basic hotel before. The mirror is falling apart and had old toothpaste both in a clump in it and smeared on the glass. The toilet is in a separate room with no hand basin so you would need to get to the main bathroom to wash your hands after. The bed had plastic bed cover which made the whole sleeping experience bad the first night as it made me very sweaty. The food is ok. The best things with this place is the location and 3 staff that have been so nice and helpful throughout. 1- the young guy at the dinner service, Mohammed I believe his name is, was so kind and always helpful. 2- the make in reception at the beach wing that helped me trying to contact the excursion provider when they never turned up. I believe his name also was Mohammed 3- the young guy that always was there to help all the people over the streets especially when when the traffic was being hectic. Unfortunately I don’t know his name.
