Amazing and charming

This time the read won’t be so long…. But essentiall… It is my 10 time in this hotel, and as all normal people I like to travel and discover new places and almost never go back twice to the hotel I have been to discover new things… So, if we are turning back here so many times that actually means one thing , they do good… and it’s my place for rest. Mustafa from reception front office already know us and our preferences and did great job this time. Thanks a lot! Mina from People and Basem are exceptionally kind and attentive, they do their job with heart. Andrew from Asian restaurant and the cheeef… you made me send all my family there. And our favourite Salt restaurant which will not be as good as it is without Basseim. And Ahmet, Ali and Sameh from main restaurant! Kind regards to you Ibrahim, you are always professional and keeping the standards high! Which we do appreciate! And see! So big thanks to you guys. You make this place wonderful and owerwelming . Spa You improved the aqua park making there warm water which is incredible plus in winter season.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. we were upgraded to main side as it was my husbands birthday month. The rooms are slightly outdated, i know they are working their way through doing these up though. We were in block 5 which is ideal. close to reception, pools etc but far enough away from any loud music. Room was cleaned daily and mini fridge replenished. We asked for sugar free coke as opposed to sugary drinks and this was never an issue. The balcony is very small and we didn't really use it. overall the room is well kept and the cleaners do a fantastic job. The food at the main a la carte restaurant Turquoise is amazing. The staff in the restaurant go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and ensure that you have everything that you need. There are always plenty of options and the food is hot. The staff get to know you very quickly and will go and get you your drinks without being asked. They make you feel very welcome and special. special mention to Fadye he ensured the restaurant ran to an exceptional standard and everyone was made feel welcome. We enjoyed the pool area and it was never too busy. The lifeguards always got us towels and took them to loungers for us. The bar staff got to know our drinks and would bring them without us asking. The drinks were replenished without us having to ask and the staff were always smiling and chatty. the entertainment was fantastic and we were lucky to be there for Christmas and New Year. The effort put into New Year in particuliar was amazing. We are away at this time every year and this was the best entertainment that we had seen. The staff go above and beyond to ensure that you are happy. our favourite a la cartes were Mangal, Salt and Mykonos. it's worth paying the £20 for the Greek. the food is lovely and the entertainment is fun. we never had a problem booking the a la cartes while there and managed to try them all. we managed to do some of them twice. This was definetely one of the best holidays we have been on.

Fabulous week at Seagate

Review of our week at Rixos Premium Seagate. Date. 5th - 12th January 2025 Party. 4 adults (ages 54, 51, 23, 18) Rooms. We stayed in the aqua side of the hotel and booked 2 rooms. We had booked the basic rooms as only use them for sleeping and showers. On arrival we were upgraded to the next level of room so that we could have rooms nect to one another (hotel offered, we didn't ask). We were in block 30, second floor. Note there are no lifts. This was not a problem for us but worth noting if you have mobility issues). Rooms were huge!! Comfortable beds, spotlessly clean, mini fridge filled daily. We had robes, slippers, a box of vanity items including, amongst other things, razor, toothbrushes and toothpaste. The shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were really good quality- my hair felt great after using. Housekeeping team were fantastic. Weather. Temperatures between 21 and 23 whilst we were there. Chilly on a night, especially in entertainment at beach area. One windy day but other than that very calm. Definitely warm enough for sunbathing, swimming etc. Comfortable heat for excursions and exploring. Food. Turquoise restaurant had a huge range of choices all of a good standard. Staff were attentive and quick to fetch drinks, clear tables, etc. We enjoyed every meal we had there. There was also live music playing at both lunch and dinner. A la carte restaurants are free to book (with a couple of exceptions) You can do it via app, on screens in reception or at guest services. We found we could only book for two days ahead so its a good idea to do it as soon as you get there if you have a few you'd like to visit. We tried Mangal bbq restaurant on the beach. Fabulous food, excellent experience and definitely one for the meat eaters. Were wore cardigans/jackets but the bbq next to our table ensured we weren't cold. Lazelar turkish restaurant had beautiful interior, attentive staff and a fantastic menu. Mykynos greek restaurant has an additional charge but definitely worth a visit. Good food, attentive service, live music, greek dancing and plate smashing was an amazing experience and we had so much fun. Staff. Every member of staff went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. Islam in the Aqua lobby bar and Tarek from the entertainment team deserve a special mention. Islam kept our drinks filled, snacks topped up and sorted the football on the screens for us. Always with a smile and a friendly chat. Tarek is a bundle of fun. Keeping us updated with day/evening entertainment, getting us up to dance, playing darts and table tennis and generally just making sure we were having a fab time. We left feeling that we have made a new friend. Facilities. Fantastic! Aqua park is amazing with lots of slides for all ages and plenty of sunbeds/bean bags. Food and drinks are available there too. Great selection of pools to suit all. Family, entertainment, quiet - all with very attentive lifeguards. Lots of places to soak up the sun around pools or on beach. Windbreakers around beds on beach also. Pools had a selection of standard sun beds, bean bags, chairs, double lounger beds and wicker sofa loungers. Plenty of umbrellas for shade also. Buggys are plentiful to take you round the resort. We walked quite often as it literally takes a few minutes to cross the road between both sites. The majority of facilities are on the main side and we found the turquoise restaurant choices superior to that on Aqua side. Evening entertainment. Singers, dancers, dj's, light show and fireworks were some of what we experienced. We also enjoyed spending time in the lobby bar (we are football fans and were able to watch it there) and had quite a few games of pool (tables are free to use). Some nights entertainment was in main arena other times down at beach. Daytime entertainment. Lots going on throughout the day if you like to join in games, sporting activities etc. There is snorkeling at the end of hotel jetty but take your own mask. Lifeguard in attendance. Excursions. We booked our excursions through Falcon Adventure Excursions Sharm and highly recommended. Hotel excursion prices are extortionate! We did the quads and camel riding, private speedboat and snorkeling and booked return transport to soho square one evening. We all enjoyed the trips. Guides were knowledgeable and friendly, everything ran smoothly. Security at the hotel check driver details and can contact Falcon to check they are en route so no concerns about safety. We wandered along to their shop to book which is only a short walk from the hotel. Alcohol. I had seen some negative comments regarding alcohol before our visit. We had no issues and I can confirm that my husband and son certainly felt the effects of the cocktails and vodka sprites - I have video evidence to prove it 🤣 As a first time visitor to Egypt I would recommend this hotel to all ages. We hope to take our 12 year old grandson later in the year as he would love it too!! We usually do five star hotels and have visited Thailand, Lara, Madeira and Canaries recently. In my opinion this hotel is comparable based on food, staff and facilities. If you've got this far thanks for reading and happy holidays!!

Christmas holidays

Fantastic holidays! It was our second holiday in Rixos premium segate. Food was delicious, service is good. Restaurant Mangal is amazing. We will definitely come back. Only one thing: we have a boy 7 years old and he spent all his time in kids club playing football. Soccer field so small, hope to find it next time 2 times bigger.

Nice chilled relaxing holiday

My first time to this beautiful, clean and very friendly resort where nothing was too much to ask for. The housekeeping were good keeping our rooms clean daily. The lifeguards at the Entertainment pool namely Ahmed, Mohamed and the others during our stay from 5th to 15th January were wonderful helping us daily with our loungers and towels. The pool bar staff were attentive and offered fantastic customer service, Fathy and his colleagues were exceptional ensuring we were never short of drinks and snacks by the pool. All restaurants were good however the Asian restaurant was outstanding. Looking to return again soon.
