Family vacation - not so good here..

Family vacation We traveled to Egypt for the first time, chose Rixos Premium Seagate. We were guided by public reviews.. Checking in at the hotel was good, the reception gave us a room faster, which was a big plus because we had a child with us. They took us to the room, we had asked for 1 large bed and a cot, but instead we got 3 single beds. The white wine in the fridge was half-drunk. We turned a blind eye to that.. There were also no children's bathrobes, which they promised, and they were not given during the whole week. The choice of food in the Aqua zone is much smaller than in the 1st line buffet restaurant. The water park is great, there are pools practically everywhere in the hotel, the territory is so large that you can't feel the hustle and bustle of the big people. A big plus is that you can go to the Al Carte restaurants, but you couldn't often make a reservation by phone because the page didn't work and you had to go to the reception. We also wanted to try the Al Carte restaurant which is an additional charge, BUT $30 per person seems too much for a hotel. Speaking of alcohol - they pour local alcohol in imported bottles and trick you into drinking it as "real Jack Daniels" for example. Only in the lobby bar could you get something better. Also among the guests standing in line at the bar - they say the same thing. The "real" bottles are worn out, and certainly when they have a few cocktails they can't be that worn out. The service staff throughout the hotel was friendly, only one of the guys at the reception was unable to provide us with the information we were interested in. I would recommend Rixos Premium Seagate to replace the plastic sun loungers - many had stains, dirt and you can see they haven't been washed for a long time. I REALLY DISLIKED it when after placing an order, the staff comes and stands by until a review is posted about how "good" it is, waits until it is recorded and then takes a photo of the recording. WHEN you politely refuse, there are already too many of these requests, they immediately become rude, come and ask us to do it when we are in the room. THE BIGGEST SHOCK for me was when ANY guest can watch on their TV from their room what strange children are doing in the RIXY children's playground. This is beyond any criticism - the hotel can never know who their guests are!!!!! On the day of check-out, the reception was unable to show us where we can store our belongings, they simply pointed with their finger where to go and ask for it. Then the room where we left our belongings is close to the street, even though the gate is closed, anyone can come near because there was not always staff sitting by the belongings, when they say there is a camera there, it doesn't do anything. We asked where the changing room was, as in most hotels - there is one, the staff said you can go to the toilet to change. I would say "high" level for a Rixos hotel. WHEN we finished waiting for the transfer, a small bus arrived where we had to lift our suitcases up and hand them to the driver through the window - it was a shock. Analyzing this stay at this hotel, we are unpleasantly surprised by the level at which this Rixos hotel chain works.

Beautiful stay so far, fab massage at the lovely spa. I can’t wait to have another one and make use of the great spa facilities. Staff are so friendly and can’t do enough for you everywhere you go, thank you so much.
