Exceeded my expectations. Location was great. Breakfast was fantastic and loved the fact that it was until 12. Other hotels should do this too. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms a little outdated now and need a modern touch. Also that carpet needs to go, first saw that design at an Ibis in Casblanca in 2007! But this is minor and doesn't take away that it's a great hotel with great staff!

A bare essentials Ibis. Very friendly staff, good location - close to the city center & to the internationsl bus station & well maintained rooms. The property does not provide electric kettles in the rooms. No safety lockers either - they are at reception & very secure. Veg options are very minimal at breakfast.

Great staff. Sad patio/terrace. It's on an airport flight path (inbound and outbound), so it is a very noisy area, especially if you're facing the street. Closing the windows helps, but there was no A/C to speak of, so on a warm night you had to choose between fresh air and noise, or a stuffy, hot room and quiet. Odd shower with precarious step up/down. Small paper cups for water (instead of a glass). Close enough to metro Praca Espanha. The hotel meets basic needs, but that's about it.

Room was clean, breakfast was free and very extensive and good. The bar is open 24 hours serving drinks and food. The hotel is not in the tourist area but within walking distance to the metro or a very nice walk down to the river. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful.

Good Start to A Lisbon Stop

We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel in Lisbon, as a starting point for a 2 week stay in Portugal. What we needed was something simple, clean, easy access to the Metro and to the Sete Rios train station. This hotel is 5 minutes walk from the train station and about 8 minutes walk from the Metro station. The rooms are small and very efficient and clean and were perfectly comfortable for us. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful and they spoke very good English which was a great bonus for us. This was a very good starting place for us on our time in Portugal. It was about a 35 minute taxi ride from Lisbon Humberto Delgado International Airport.
