Very good hotel

We were very surprised by the good standard of the hotel. The rooms were clean, bed was comfortable & bed linen spotless. Wonderful position in the town centre with a good selection of restaurants restaurants. Parking was free and the reception warm & welcoming. Don’t be put off by the Trip Advisor photo, it doesn’t do it justice!

Very disappointing. After a long trip from Calais we were looking forward to a night's rest before travelling on to Tarragona. However, this was not be. Upon arrival we were informed that the lift was not working and that our room was on the second floor. OK we can deal with that we thought. The room. Oh my goodness, such a tiny space with one double bed and a bunk bed over it. How three people could manage in such a small space is beyond us. We then discovered there was no hot water. After running the tap in the sink and the shower for some time, they only offered luke warmwater. Back down to the front desk to inform the receptionist who was by the way quite pleasant. She offered us another room which was on the 4th floor or another hotel. We guessed the other hotel would be the one close by which we had already visited when trying to find this hotel which didn't look much better. Being very tired and not wanting to navigate the roads again at rush hour, we accepted the room on the 4th floor. Yes we did get hot water. The general appearance of this establishment was grubby and not very clean. There was a Christmas tree in the tiny foyer which was sadly dead. The microwave in the foyer was dirty on top, did not want to venture to look inside. The rooms were also of a grubby appearance and the bathroom floors were definitely not clean, toilets had brown stains at the bottom of the pans. I did not venture into the bed but slept in my clothes on top of the covers. We left early the following morning and opted not to risk breakfast based on previous experiences. To market this establishment as a "hotel" is a stretch of the imagination. We understand the meaning of budget but how low can you go. "Hostel" would be a better description. We have stayed in Ibis establishments on other occasions but have never been subject to such a poor experience.

The hotel has a good location. Purity in rooms. On a reception there was highly professionally administrator by name Hasmik. Her help was very useful, and correct. Many thanks to Hasmik. I recommend this hotel for visit to Vienna.

When it comes to Ibis Budget Hotels there is not much to say. Either they are really good for the money or they are average but acceptable for a one night stay. This hotel is quite average, the private parking vis-a-vis is quite expensive but there are public parking spaces in the vecinity of the hotel. We travelled with a brittish shorthair kitten and payed 10€ extra. The rooms are, like the majority of the Ibis Budget hotels, really clean. The bathroom is separated from the toilet. All in all, for a 1 night stay and more so if you are a solo traveller it’s ok to stay at this Ibis budget hotel.

As the name clearly indicated this is a budget hotel and you get what you pay for without any extras: a clean bed, a small bathroom and a tiny sliver of soap. Staff was very friendly and did actually grant us an additional pillow on request (but with a paper pillowcase). Centrally located, with a parking garage (for an additional 5 euros).
