Travelling with 2 friends, this was our 3rd stop in Italy. We had a lovely stay at Hotel Papadopoli. Great location near the train, nice size room for the three of us with 2 twins and a sofa bed. We had a small balcony overlooking a canal. Everyone at the hotel was very kind and helpful. Our stay included breakfast, which was extensive, and was in a beautiful room overlooking the gardens. Would highly recommend!

VERY NICE & CLEAN ROOMS WITH ALL THE AMENITIES AS LISTED. THE HOTEL RESPONDED TO MY EMAILS QUICKLY WHICH WAS VERY HELPFUL & KIND. I STAYED IN A VERY EXPENSIVE DOUBLE TRIPLE ROOM WITH A BALCONY & CANAL VIEW I STAYED THERE FOR 13 NIGHTS & FOUND THE FRONT DESK STAFF TO HAVE A LACK OF OF GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WAS NEVER GREETED WHEN I CAME DOWN TO LEAVE OR RETURNED. EVERY TIME I PASSED THE FRONT DESK THE STAFF PUT THEIR HEADS DOWN EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE NOT BUSY WITH A GUEST OR ON THE PHONE WHICH SURPRISED ME SINCE I HAVE BEEN IN CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR 30 YEARS. MADE ME FEEL VERY UNCOMFORTABLE AS I AM A SICILIAN AMERICAN. THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW. THEY DON'T PROVIDE ENOUGH HANGERS HAD TO CALL & ASK 3 TIMES FOR MORE. ONLY GOT A FEW MORE SO I HAD TO HANG 3 ITEMS ON EACH HANGER WAS NO CHAIR ON THE BALCONY & HAD TO ASK MANY TIMES TO GET ONE NO DIRECTIONS HOW TO WORK THE AIR CONDITIONER NEVER GIVEN ANY INFO THAT YOU HAD TO PUSH O TO GET TO LOBBY NEVER WAS TOLD THAT THE FRONT DOOR WAS LOCKED AT A CERTAIN TIME & THAT THERE IS A BUTTON YOU HAD TO PUSH TO GET INSIDE FIRST 2 NIGHTS I WATCHED A MOVIE ON NETFLIX THAT WAS IN ENGLISH CALLED FRONT DESK & HAD A TECHNICIAN COME UP TO SHOW ME HOW TO WORK REMOTE WAS TOLD THAT ONLY SPORTS & NEWS WAS AVAILABLE IN ITALIAN & TOOK MY REMOTE & GAVE ME ANOTHER ONE NO ICE BUCKET IN ROOM NOR WAS TOLD WHERE AN ICE MACHINE WAS LOCATED ASKED FOR THE CONCIERGE & FRONT DESK SAID THEY WERE THE CONCIERGE & NOT ALLOWED TO PRINT MY BOARDING PASSES MY LOCAL GUIDE CAME EVERY MORNING & WHEN I TOLD HER ALL THIS SHE SPOKE TO THEM SO A TABLE WAS BROUGHT UP FOR THE BALCONY ,AN ASHTRAY & MY BOARDING PASSES WERE PRINTED OUT & SHE SHOWED ME HOW TO WORK THE AIR CONDITIONER . THESE WERE THE ISSUES I HAD TO DEAL WITH WHICH MAY SEEM UNIMPORTANT FOR A 2 NITE STAY BUT 13 NIGHTS WAS VERY COSTLY & I WAS NOT TREATED WITH RESPECT OR GIVEN ANY INFO ABOUT THE HOTEL I DID GET MY WAKE UP CALLS I LOVED VENICE BUT WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN EVEN IF IT WAS FREE NORMAL PROCEDURE FOR ALL GUESTS IS TO TELL THEM INFORMATION ABOUT THE HOTEL WHEN THEY CHECK IN

Dear Guest, I truly regret reading your comments relating your recent stay with us, so please accept my sincerest apologies as it appear clear that something went wrong from our side. Trust me when I say that your words hurt me very much, as I can honestly say that this description does not represent our style and customer service. Apparently, the Venice Film Festival ongoing in those days did not help us to give the deserved care and attention to all our guests. This does not want to be an excuse but I assume this could be a reason of your perception. Our front desk remember having interact more times with your guide, meeting all the requests done; we would have had no reason not to print a boarding pass or not to help you for any other service or assistance required, I can guarantee it. Obviously, if this was your feeling it is clear that we failed in our behavior, and this is very frustrating for me as our main purpose is to make our customers feel at home and leave them with the desire to come back to visit us. Please rest assured that I will take all the appropriate measures to address the problem and prevent future occurrence. My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and absolutely loved this hotel. Great service, friendly staff and beautiful atmosphere. The room was very comfortable and we looked forward to our breakfast and cappuccino every morning! When we checked in the front desk gave us a map of the city and pointed out fun things to do and see while we were in Venice and answered any questions we had 😊

Superb Hotel Clean and tidy. Staff welcoming and apologetic that our room wasn’t ready when we tried to check in. Room small but beautifully decorated and furnished. Close to all amenities. Liked the location on the canal and close to transit station.

We had a great experience at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, until we left. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room has Venetian decor and vibe, and the location is spot on. It is beside a canal and a beautiful bridge, with good restaurants and shops around! Just like what I imagined it would be! The restaurant across the hotel, Amici, has very good pasta dishes! The 3 days that we spent in Venice were incredibly spectacular!
