Beautiful Room in a great location. We had an outstanding deluxe room in a great location on a side canal in central Venice, about 5 min walk from the train station, right behind the park. Our room had a private balcony. The room was decorated beautifully, and had a super cool LED shower that changed colors when on. The breakfast buffet was very good. Cons: the hotel left a pamphlet with “call this number for gondola scheduling” but when we called it, told us they don’t do that. The concierge(s) were unfriendly. The AC would not go below 21.5 C and that was toooo hot at night. The bed was really, really uncomfortable. They obvi know, too, because they put a pillow topper or something on it and you can see it get indented where you lay after the first night. And the room we were in was very near the housekeeping office and their phone/alarms kept going off and the door was slamming and the they were yelling and chatting right there loudly in the early morning hours. The room was beautiful, but I wouldn’t stay here again.

I am however sorry to read a general dissatisfaction in your review, so first of all please allow me to send you our apologizes for not having fully met your expectations. At the same time, I would like to reply to your detailed text to better explain our position: Gondola: I am not sure to have understood what happened.. we do not have pamphlets in room promoting gondola rides (we have reduced at minimum paper in room for safety reasons, and to be more eco-friendly). If you refer to our Memorable Moment offer, displayed on our digital concierge, we regularly offer it to our clients as it is part of our brand concept. It might have been a misunderstanding on this matter I suppose, for which I personally apologize. Bedding arrangement: all our mattresses have a soft cover on the top plus a unique double sheet to give more comfort and softness; bedding arrangements have been replaced with our recent renovation, and I can personally guarantee the quality of our products. Of course the softness could be a matter of personal preference, but allow me to say the our bedding arrangements are of premium quality. All products we use are verifiable on the official store Air Conditioning: Our cooling system works regularly in all the Hotel and no anomalies have been found last week. Moreover, temperatures in Venice were not so high (max 26 degrees) to cause a crash in the aircon system. When the rooms reach the temperature set, it turns automatically in standby mode to keep the degrees, and restart when temperature get higher. Staff: all our team work with the common purpose to take care of all our guests giving an unforgettable service experience. We very much regret to read that the staff did not have the right attitude, as politeness and professionalism are, since always, one of our strength point most awarded by our clients feedback. My deepest apologize goes to you as, if we gave you this perception, we surely have our responsibilities for which we will take the appropriate measures to prevent any future occurrence. I sincerely hope that, despite your remarks, you enjoyed your stay in our beautiful city and would like to give us the chance to better serve you in a future, Kindest regards Pamela Merlini General Manager

Visited Venice before, but this summer I decided to spend some days within the boundaries of the city and it was a great idea. Being a member of the All Accor loyalty programme, I decided to book the Papadopoli Venezia Hotel - a MGallery hotel. Well, I can say that all my expectations were largely exceeded. First, the location is very convenient, close to the Railway Station Santa Lucia, very easy to reach from. The hotel is splendid and I loved every aspect of my stay. It is probably the most charming hotel in the world that I stayed at. I was upgraded towards a Deluxe Room, with a canal view and it was fabulous. Such a charming decoration, in the Venetian style, of course. All silk, velvet and Murano crystal. Bathroom very well equipped, with Italian toiletries. I also loved the breakfast, in the garden of the hotel, with trees and flowers around and delicious cappuccinos and fresh fruits. Plus the delicious evening cocktails at the elegant "Giardino d'Inverno" restaurant. All the personnel of the hotel was very kind and responsive, I even had the right to a late check-out, which gave me some time to rest before night flight home. Yes, the hotel is quite expensive (after all, this is Venice) but worth every penny. I would like to send special thanks to Ms. Pamela M., the G.M. of the hotel, who was very kind and prepared a dream stay (literally) for me. I can't wait to visit again Venice (no other city in the world compares to it) and, of course, to stay again at the fantastic Papadopoli Hotel.

Totally awesome hotel in Venezia, oh well, let's call it Venice, if you wish. Superb experience, and too bad we stayed there only one night. It is actually very convenient location, close to train station, vaporetto and bus station to go to Venice/Marco Polo airport. Very convenient, as there is no need to drag your luggage through the city, including bridges....))) We took train to Venice, and left on the plane the following day. Saved ourselves time and money, staying in Hotel Papadopoli. Impressive servive through and through, friendly, competent, and efficient. Appreciated complimentary Platinum Accor executive suite upgrade, the best room in hotel, with private terrace, outside hot tub/jacuzzi, and private elevator. Needless to say that suite was quite nice, tasteful, and spacious. Suite Jacqueline, should I say more?! The hotel public areas are nicely decorated, and atmospheric too. Nice bar with hood service. Expensive, of course, as everything in Venezia in the summer, but totally worth it. Special thank you to all staff that made our family stay special. This is MGallery brand of Accor that can be potentially hit or miss, this one was big hit with us!

The location is great and the staff is amazing. I just witnessed a woman and her two daughters create a scene by being shockingly rude, demanding, aggressive and threatening to the staff (Fabio) at the reception desk, and he handled it with admirable poise and professionalism. A class act.

Had a wonderful stay at Venice. The hotel is located 10 minutes walking distance from the train station, and literally next to the tram and bus station. Highly recommended. The staff at the reception are great, met Andrea at check-in and also Marco. 😀
