Well located hotel, good breakfast,we paid for it, bad customer service

We r platinum Accor members and when requesting an upgrade which is supposed to be guaranteed they were rude and said they are full, when we asked if they instead maybe could provide complementary breakfast they also responded rudely not.

Good location to visit Metz. Secure car park (paid) behind the hotel and a very short walk into the town centre - 5 minutes. Good decently priced bar breakfast of hot drink, juice & pastries.

Central location. Not quite up to usual Mercure level

The location is central, but if you are relying on a parking spot, get there early as there are limited spaces. The room was scrupulously clean with decent bathroom. What let things down was breakfast - even at 0730 all sorts of items had run out. What made that worse was that staff ignored this and only thought to replace items when customers complained. (No cups, no lids for teapots, no bread, no scrambled egg). The Mercure brand aren't five star but they're usually more organised than this.

Excellent friendly and helpful staff. A group of three we had messed up our booking. We’re dealt with by young Nina. She appeared to be at the end of her shift but could not have been more helpful and accommodating to sort out our mess. Great rooms in a good location. Have been before and would recommend

Miscommunication with parking. Parking in hotel is 12euros. Room is old, torn curtains. You get extra pillows but are very think. No cable TV. No phone in the room,old ,cheap furniture.Team was competent . Close to City Center and train station.Good for a night or 2.
